Do not rent

I rented this property without reading the previous reviews, that was a mistake. The host did not ever get in touch with us until forced to 3 hours before check-in. At that time she sent a message that there was a leak and water had to be shut off and she had to cancel the stay. Luckily VRBO is super helpful. I had not heard about any type of access information to the property and gave VRBO a call. They also were unable to contact the host and helped us to set up another option to stay. They also helped us to get our money back. We never did stay or go by the house, but please believe the reviews.

Great location

The place was in a great area very accessible to lots os attractions. The house itself is good, lots of rooms, big kitchen and we felt safe. Only complaint would be cleanliness. There was dust on shelves, towels were not properly cleaned and bathroom looked like it needed a good scrub.

Bad Way unfinished house

This property is not ready to be rented out. Hole going into master trips you. Floor is very. No stove. No rods or hangers in in 2 bedrooms & no dressers for clothes so had to put them on floor. Beds need box springs badly not good for older or bad knees. No warnings at all. Was informed about time bar stool. Feel like we should get part of our money back. Also ice maker broken. No condiments. This property is not ready to rent out. Get it fixed because of I got my sick caught on my socks. Not happy with this!

While the location and amenities seemed promising, our experience was severely impacted by several issues with the property that were not addressed before our stay:‱There was a hole in the floor that was mentioned in previous reviews, but it had not been fixed by the time we arrived.‱Soft spots in the flooring made it feel unsafe, and a large rug under the dining table seemed to be hiding a large piece of wood which was probably covering another hole.‱The guest bathtub was filthy and appeared to have not been cleaned in some time.‱The living room TV remote was missing, making the TV unusable.‱There was no WiFi, although it is advertised as an amenity.‱The fridge contained an ice maker/water dispenser, however it did not work.‱We looked for cleaning supplies to clean the tub ourselves in order to use it, however there were none‱The fan light in one of the guest bedrooms didn’t work.When I reached out to the host about these issues, instead of addressing my concerns, she quickly deflected and accused us of having extra guests and a party—which was completely untrue. We paid for five guests (which included an extra guest fee), but only three of us stayed, and there was no party. The host seemed more concerned with unrelated matters than addressing the problems with the property. Once I cleared up that up, she completely ghosted the conversation. We were really disappointed with our stay. Would not recommend unless significant improvements are made.

Great Stay!

Owner was very prompt with responses and I never had trouble reaching anyone. I was made aware of small floor damage in one spot, and was advised on how to use the ac. Our group had a great stay and the home was very clean.

Horrible

Me and another occupant almost fell through the floor. The house smell clean but it really wasn’t. Roach crawled on my wife while we was sleep and roaches was in the sink. The air didn’t work and the refrigerator didn’t keep anything cool. The host is good at responding before arrival but once you get there she don’t respond. Now I complained while I was there but she wouldn’t respond to me until after check out, and I know why now because that’s when she don’t have to give a refund. VRBO of course they refunded the service fee but also was on the host side when it came to refunding at least partial payment. I don’t want hear about a different time zone because it was never a problem before check in and I don’t want to hear about calling because you stated to reach you by messaging you. I also stated I wouldn’t give a bad review or any review if a person can acknowledge their wrong but guess what, she didn’t. So HELL NO I DONT recommend this place unless she make some changes.
