New England Fall Tour

We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and it was very nice. Very clean. A short walk across the backyard and you can stand at the river edge and relax.

The property was clean and nice. Two minor issues- there was a beeping sound from an adjacent utility closet which drive my wife nuts and the curtains could be better for keepi g out the light. Other than these, a very nice, non chain hotel.

Our view was stunning with the river out the window! Big, clean room! Very close to New Milford and restaurants and shops! We came for the Gilmore Girls weekend and I would absolutely stay here again!

We came a weekend away, and had a great time. Check in was easy, the room was great, it was nice to have the fridge and microwave. I also enjoyed the large bath tub. Grocery store close by, close to New Milford downtown. We also enjoyed the Hausatonic Brewery nearby. We had some issues with the TV when we arrived but the lady at the front desk was super helpful and came by right away to address the issue.

Technical Difficulties

The room was nice and large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could use a few more hooks or places to hang towels. The shower floor is kind of slippery and there are no bars to grab. We kept having problems with our TV. Someone would have to come in and fix it every time we turned it on. I would have to walk over to the office because the phone didn't work. It was a pain. There were two of us staying in the room and the coffee maker is a Keurig. Only two pods were there and I asked for eight more as we were staying two nights, three mornings. The woman at the desk reluctantly gave them to me, She kept looking at me like I was going to steal them. The wifi connection was nice and strong. It would be nice if there was more then one chair in the room.

Property was alright from the outside really pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was inside. Front desk was easy, parking was close. River behind is lovely. I would definitely stay again.
