My daughter & I had a great stay at the Rocky River Inn. The mini fridge, microwave & coffeemaker were much appreciated, as was the Aveda bath products. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed looking out of our picture window to see the animals frolic by the river.

Well worth the money.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and they are always more than accomadating. I spread the hotel by word of mouth and i would say about 5 different friends add this place to thier definate stays anytime we are going fishing or stopping by elephants trunk flea market in Connecticut.

There is no proper sound proofing between floors if you are staying in the 2 story portions. We heard every footstep and voice ALL night of those above us all night. Otherwise, a good location for us to downtown New Milford and they accommodated an early check in.

The room was very nice. This is an old motel that is clearly being updated and they haven't gotten to the outside yet. Im sure it will be really nice when they do. It was a short drive to several surrounding towns. Lots of restaurants in the area and several delivery options. Great, economical choice as a home base if you need a place in the area (we were attending a multi-day conference).

This little motor is fairly unassuming on the outside, but it was exceedingly clean, the bedroom was large and had everything I needed. I'll definitely go back. Good price, very nice room.

Overnight adventure

My daughter and I were on an overnight adventure and this place was just right! We didn’t spend a ton of time in the room but we enjoyed the room, view, and (huge) TV. I imagine it’s an even nicer spot in the summer, overlooking the river.

Great value for the price!

No frills, but clean and quiet (except for someone banging on a door nearby at 7:45 AM after we had a late night...gotta love that) and the check-in was fast and friendly. Not much nearby but a beautiful river view out the window. Downsides were the water in the bathroom took a while to get hot and the tub faucet dripped. Also the mattress was a bit too firm and pillows were not all that comfy (bring your own). All in all, would stay here again.

This was a great affordable room. Very clean, comfortable, and convenient. King size bed, huge TV, mini fridge, Keurig, microwave. Great hot water for the shower/bath. I will be back and recommend it to others!
