Gorgeous Magnolia Cottage: With Bicycles/Beach Equipment- Pet Friendly! Private!

Magnolia Cottage is located on Beautiful Dauphin Island right on the infamous Bienville Blvd. Magnolia Cottage sits on a very large lot that offers you loads of privacy surrounded by gorgeous native magniolia trees and with a beautiful view of Bienville's gorgeous palm trees. The house is centrally located only about mile to the beach, boat ramp, Sea Lab, Fort Gaines, Bird Santuary, shops, restaurants and the Aquarium, Dauphin Island's bike path sits across the street for easy access to the island for biking, walking and jogging. Rent a golf cart and have a blast going all over the island, including our white sandy beaches. Magnolia Cottage offers ample parking for several cars/trucks and trailers.

For your enjoyment, we provide two adult bicycles, a very nice BBQ grill, a commercial Ice Maker for coolers/drinks and lots of outdoor seating. There is an outdoor hose for cleaning sandy feet and fish cleaning purposes, etc. We also provide very fast internet, 55" Smart TV, fully stocked kitchen with all updated appliances, linens and towels.

Rest assured, you will be very comfortable at Magnolia Cottage. It is the cleanest vacation rental on the market. I personally make sure the place is spotless for each and every guest. We even clean and bleach all comfortors after each guest as well.

Provided for dogs and small children is a gate at the top of the stairs for safety purposes.

The island has a lot of golf carts for rent. Magnolia cottage has the perfect location for exploring the entire island with ease! It's great fun, and it's nice to have all the beach sand in the golf cart versus your own car.

Wonderful Stay on Dauphin Island, AlabamaMy husband and I came for his work trip and ended up falling in love with Dauphin Island. Even in the off-season, the wide beaches, quiet atmosphere, and perfect fall weather made it much more of an enjoyable work trip.The house is in a great location and laid out beautifully — especially for families. The level of cleanliness was exceptional, truly above and beyond. Truly hard to find anything wrong.The hosts were fantastic. Communicative, kind, and incredibly patient when I made a ridiculous mistake and managed to get the house key stuck in one of the locks. With our phones and work computers inside, they came within hours, unlocked everything with zero judgment, and reassured me it was totally fine. As someone originally from South Carolina, the town felt like home — genuinely nice people, sweet tea everywhere, and fried okra on nearly every menu. Make sure you stop by the Lighthouse Bakery, their pastries are incredible. We've stayed in plenty of VRBOs with all the traveling we do, and this is one I’d recommend without hesitation.

Our stay at Magnolia Cottage was absolutely lovely. The home was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for making a few meals. There are 3 full bathrooms which made it nice for our family to have their own space. The walking/biking trails are great. The bikes available at the home are perfect for an evening ride around the island. The beaches are each unique. The aquarium is nearby and very cool. We all had a great time- fabulous food, laid back vibe, really enjoyed our quality time on the island!

Perfect Place to Stay!

This was our first time to Dauphin Island and this was the perfect place to stay. It had everything needed from washer/dryer to the BBQ grill. It was also super clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. It was more than enough room for me and my son. The third bedroom with the bunkbeds went unused. This island is super small so it was very easy to access the Bird Sanctuary, the Aquarium, the West and East beaches. You don't really need to be right on the beach as I enjoyed watching people travel down the bike path, and enjoyed it myself too. We enjoyed Pirate's Pizza and visited Islanders twice as that was our favorite restaurant. The Lighthouse Bakery was super delicious too. Overall, great place to stay but you will have to be able to climb stairs. Also, you are provided two dish pods and two trash bags so you will probably need to bring your own if you are there for more than two days. The first bedroom has no way to hang clothes or unpack them on shelves or in a dresser. There is just a high top shelf in a closet. I didn't find this a problem as I just lived out of my suitcase. The ice maker downstairs was broken while we were there but the fridge makes ice. I brought my own ice cube trays so that I could use bottled water as all water has to be filtered. The water hose on the ground floor is VERY convenient for rinsing off the sand from the beach as the beaches do not have a place to rinse off. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. We loved it.

Excellent rental. This was our second time choosing this property for our Dauphin Island stay. The property sits amongst magnolia trees on the Eastern end of the island and is situated perfectly for migration viewing birders.

Wonderful home and location

This property is everything and more as shown in the listing. The place is clean, beds are very comfortable and is very inviting and relaxing. The beach wagon and chairs along with the bikes are very nice addition to what comes with the property. Cheri was very responsive to any questions we had. I would recommend anyone looking for a wonderful place to get away and relax to consider this place.

Cherie’s place exceeded our expectations!

We’ve stayed in multiple rentals but Cherie’s place was the cleanest, especially being dog friendly. All furniture was in great condition and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed over Thanksgiving, and the kitchen was well stocked for us to make our meals. Cherie was even kind enough to bring over a pot and burner so we could make a shrimp boil. We loved the location for walks and the bikes to ride on the island. This was our first trip to Dauphin Island, and it won’t be our last. It made it even more special to have our dogs with us as it will be the last holiday season with one of them. Thank you, Cherie, for a great stay.

Great spot on Main Street that allows pets

Our dogs were able to come to the beach with us and let me tell you they enjoyed it! And we wouldn’t have been able to if the host didn’t accommodate us so we were thankful for that. It’s super centrally located and close to everything. Had everything we needed including an ice machine!

Spotlessly Clean Beach House

A Perfect Stay

This house was perfect for our two families to stay while visiting! The beaches were fun. We enjoyed East beach more. You do have to walk to beach from parking lot, the house provides a wagon to bring along. We toured Fort Gaines and the kids loved it. Worth the visit. Try to bring ALL your groceries from the mainland. If you forget something it will cost ya! The communication with owner was outstanding!
