One of the double queen mattresses was a horrible, sunken mess. As a result, my first of two nights was awful. The second night was better on the other bed.
The room also had a faint animal urine smell. I've noticed the last three times I've stayed here, they've become more animal friendly. Maybe they need to take the extra money they charge pet owners and actually deep clean the rooms after the pet owner leaves.
Like the other times, the sink filled up fast and would have clogged had I not let the water run out.
Curiously, this is the only hotel I've ever known to put refrigerators in the rooms that dont get cold. If you want something like leftovers, drinks or anything kept cold, you should buy a Styrofoam cooler and fill it with ice. What a major inconvenience.
Lastly, I came in from visiting friends after 2:00 a.m., walked right in without using ny room key and there was no one at the front counter. In these dangerous times, that lack of security us unsettling.
This is simply not the same great hotel I've used for years when visiting my parents. I'm not likely to ever stay here again.
