There was mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom as well as in the actual tub itself. The toilet would not fill with water.The floors were not clean and the blankets had huge disgusting stains all over them so we had to purchase our own blankets, pillows, etc. from Walmart. Front desk was nice but I definitely will not be staying at this property again and do not recommend anyone to stay here that likes cleanliness.

We always try to stay at the Blackstone when in the Blackhills, as the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and they very accommodating with their free shuttle to Deadwood and complimentary breakfast. This time around, we had a family room, it was a little dated, but clean. I would still recommend this place for the price!

Everything was good, reasonable rates, clean, close to the ski resort and a good breakfast. We had to leave early due to weather. We checked out by 7:00 am and was still charged for the next day, not sure if that is a common practice.

Gross, will never stay again.

This hotel is filthy. We had three different rooms, first night we checked in super late (1am and fee was only 49 bucks) outside of hotels.com, so checked out next day. Room was dirty but figured whatever for price and location (I'm not really that picky). Second day we booked it again. There was semen on the wall, mold in shower, dirt in corners on lamps. It is clear the quarterly deep cleaning is not occuring. Then they moved us to a new room, lamp wouldn't turn off. Had to find the plug behind the TV and unplug it, dirt on walls in corners, etc. People woke me out of a dead sleep at 2 am laughing and carrying on ... Pictures look nice, but they're old. This place is gross and will not stay again. And no credit/refund offered on the gross disgusting room, had my 9 year old son with me.

It started off falling in parking. Lot. There was lots of ice everywhere some salt/ sand would have been nice. Need to clean exit better. You couldn’t see if anyone was coming snow piled so high. Didn’t have phone service on 1st floor. TV didn’t. The continental breakfast wasn’t good On the good side the beds were comfortable slept great. Rooms were ok.

I WON $244 IN THIER CASINO @ MIDNIGHT, I TRIED TO CASH THE TICKET IN @ THE FRONT DESK AND THEY REFUSED TO HONOR IT. TOLD ME THE TICKET WASN'T NOT GOOD AFTER 2AM. THAT IF I WOULD HAVE WON IT AT 1:59AM AT 2AM THE TICKET WOULD NO LONGER BE ABLE TO BE VALIDATED. HOW IS THIS LEGAL??? I PUT $60 IN THE MACHINE AND WON THIS MONEY AND THEY REFUSED TO HONOR THIS!!

We have stayed here many times and it has really gone downhill. They have 3 hottubs but only one had water in it which was disgusting. I rented two rooms- one pet friendly, the other not. The pet friendly room was actually the cleaner more updated room. The other room smelled and was dirty and completley outdated. Will pay more for a different place.

The most disgusting room ever

Disgusting room. It was made to look clean but pulled the bedding back and it was covered in black hair. The towels were hung up with makeup or something on them. Horrible customer service they did nothing to fix the situation. Had to leave and find another hotel
