Just 50 meters from the pebble beach

Just a stone’s throw from the sea, Pebble Beach Cottage is perfectly placed for you to enjoy all the many charms of Deal. Its peaceful location guarantees a good night’s sleep, yet the lively High Street with its quirky independent shops, markets and cafés is a mere stroll away along the unspoilt promenade. An even shorter walk brings you to the Strand, where you’ll find the green and bandstand, a family run bakery, pubs, convenience stores and one of Deal’s best breakfast spots looking out over the Channel. You can even buy freshly caught fish direct from the boatmen on the beach. Everything you need is right here.
Deal itself is a picture perfect Georgian seaside town, rich in maritime history, with two proper castles, local museums and a striking modernist pier all worth a visit. Further afield within a thirty minute drive are Dover Castle, the cathedral city of Canterbury and the major shopping outlet at Ashford. If you prefer two legs or two wheels, there are plenty of country and coastal paths and trails just waiting to be explored.
Golfers, too, are spoilt for choice, with three superb British Open courses nearby – Royal St. Georges, Royal Cinque Ports and Princes. Also within reach are the attractions of Margate – Turner Contemporary, Dreamland and the extraordinary shell grotto, Dickensian Broadstairs, Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour, Whitstable and the picturesque Medieval streets of Sandwich.
Whatever takes your fancy, Pebble Beach Cottage will make your stay a memorable and relaxing one. It has been tastefully renovated to a very high standard, with a light and airy lounge, cosy dining room and kitchen downstairs, and a spacious double bedroom plus single and bathroom with separate shower upstairs. Outside a secluded courtyard garden is the ideal spot to catch the evening sunshine with a glass of something chilled, and there is side access for bilkes or pushchairs.
No smoking, please, for the comfort and enjoyment of our non-smoking guests.

Lovely cottage, perfect for my short stay.

Short stay in Deal, close to the seafront, 10 min walk to town. Visiting family and friends, the cottage is perfect for a short stay. Comfortable bed, cakes and milk a welcome surprise after a 5 hour drive from Dorset!

Lovely little property in great location

We had a very nice break in this property, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. The only downside is that it's not particularly child friendly, but we were aware of this from the description.

A very cosy house well located for the town/sea front. Well equipped and clean. The house was very warm (winter let). A very large master bedroom and the shower worked well.Parking could be an issue but we managed to get a slot and didn't use the car again during our stay.

Perfect place for quiet retreat

Our third stay at Pebble Beach Cottage which says it all! Perfect place for quiet retreat. We wanted a few days away from the city, somewhere quiet, near the sea, good for dog walks, and where our daughter could study for her exams. Pebble Beach Cottage was perfect for all of these, and is also beautifully fitted out and spotlessly clean. We will be coming again!

Lovely little cottage

This is the second time we have stayed here this year. Perfect little cottage for us (2 adults, one teen and a Beagle) to get away for a few days break. The cottage is in a quiet street just one road back from the sea front (nice to be tucked back as the main sea road can get quite busy traffic). It was immaculately clean, well equipped with everything, and so cosy (a lovely warm fire, which was very welcome after a walk along the windy beach) and it was a lovely touch to leave some milk and cakes out for our arrival. We will be going back again! Five Stars :)

A Good Deal in Deal

Except for the seagulls, this is a charming and serene area in a lovely renovated 1900s English cottage. 839 square feet on two levels. Pebble Beach is half a block away. The town center, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. Swim in the English Channel. Rent a bike if you enjoy cycling. PEBBLE BEACH

The décor of this small cottage is mainly blue & white to enhance the seaside theme. The tiny galley/kitchen is equipped for simple self-catering — our preference — & the separate dining room is spacious & comfortable. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the beach, local shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. The only drawback could be the staircase, which is narrow & steep, with high risers & narrow treads, & a rope ‘handrail’ attached to the wall: rather like being on a small boat. But for most young people this will probably add to the charm of the place.

Great location, excellent for exploring surrounding areas, we took our bikes and cycled most days, great flat promenade. Cottage was comfortable and clean, never had a problem parking, even in peak times! Will definitely return.

Great little cottage in a very pleasant seaside town

This cottage is well equipped, very clean, spacious, pleasantly decorated and nicely located for a UK seaside break. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful to deal with. We had a lovely 8 night stay, found lots to do, visited some quaint and interesting nearby locations such a Broadstairs, Canterbury and Ramsgate but also we enjoyed the opportunity to relax in the delightful area around Deal. Parking outside the cottage was very convenient. We hope to return another year.

Great cottage in great location

Perfect for myself, partner and 4yr old son. Found a parking spot every day. Neighbours were all so lovely and helpful. Mark the owner was brilliant with communication and check in was easy. My son especially appreciated the yummy cake on arrival. If visiting in summer with young kids highly recommend the Deal open air paddling pool. It’s literally a 5 min walk and free. Deal town is a 10 min walk along the beach front and there is a cafe and bakers 2 mins away too. Not a negative at all but something I just overlooked was that there is no washing machine so pack enough clothes if there for a week. I actually really enjoyed the break from washing to be honest so don’t let that deter you. A perfect cottage that would highly recommend.

Long weekend in sunny Deal

Small, quirky cottage in a perfect location. Very attentive owner, very well decribed in terms of facilities. Lovely surpise of cake and milk on arrival, the whole stay and process was very easy and would highly recommed this cottage as a base to explore the area. One note - very steep stairs - but to be expected for the age and style of the property.

Beautiful cottage

Delightful weekend in Deal in this cottage. Some beautiful touches made it a very memorable stay. Thank you for the anniversary cake which was delicious! The cottage is gorgeous and everything we could have hoped for in terms of space, facilities, location. Would love to visit again soon!

Relaxing Christmas break

We were met at the property by the owner, who had also been easy to communicate with beforehand. The cottage is very clean and beautifully furnished. Location is excellent, one street back from the seafront, with an easy walk into town, or Walmer Castle in the other direction. The two of us, plus the dog had a really lovely break, and hope to return one day.
