Clean and cozy. The house was centrally located in a nice neighborhood close to access in the heart of the city. I would go back to Des Moines just to stay in this house. The neighborhood is quiet. The backyard is peaceful. The city is beautiful. The beds were extremely comfortable. I have never stayed in a cleaner or more peaceful VRBO. The host was AMAZING! If VRBO used this property as a guideline for listings, it would be doing us all a great service.

Des Moines Stay

The house was perfect for our stay. It had lots of space for everyone (even with two people working remotely) and was very conveniently located. It also was very well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. We had a very enjoyable, comfortable stay. Scott was extremely helpful and responsive!

Wedding weekend

Worked out great to have our family all together rather than multiple hotel rooms. Plenty of stretching out room. Kitchen was great for cooking and baking. Scott was very responsive to my many questions about what kitchen items were there. Well stocked kitchen. If he didn’t have an item, he was very accommodating to get what I needed. Circle drive was great to reduce cars on the street. Great deck but too hot to enjoy! Will definitely use this location again!

Will Stay Again

We are a family of 6 and needed a place to stay while visiting family. Our kids are older, ages 20 - 23, so I like them to have their own space when we travel. The accommodations were everything we needed for this trip, having access to a washer and dryer would be nice for longer trips though. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice.Contact with the home owner was very easy and pleasant. Scott was very gracious and replied to my messages quickly.We also loved the location! We’d like to stay here in the summer and take advantage of the lake and activities that are close by.

House was nice and in great neighborhood, however we were forced to pay for the damage insurance in order to reserve the stay, a couple hours after leaving we got a damage claim email that the owner claimed damage on stuff we didn’t even use. We were there less than 12 hours, only to sleep yet somehow we created $1500 in damage on stuff we didn’t use, while the doors wouldn’t even completely close. The claim looks fraudulent in my eyes and disappointed that happened because the stay itself was nice.
