The area
There are RV campsites by the clubhouse and boat launch. There is a public park, boat launch, restaurant and bar. The Gorge Amphitheater is 40 minutes away. Yakima wineries are about an hour away although there is a winery close to Mattawa. The town of Mattawa in 10 minutes away with a grocery store, hardware store, and restaurants. Mattawa has a Saturday market with fruits, vegetables, good food and other odds and ends.

Great house

This house was great and suited our needs perfectly, it was clean and comfortable and the home owner was very responsive to our request. In addition to being close to the weekend event we were going to, it was also so close to the golf course and the river. The added perk was being able to use the golf cart and not have to rent one the day we golfed.

Desert Aire stay

We went there to fish the Columbia and do some golfing we had a great time. The home was very comfortable and had everything needed. We also enjoyed the use of the golf cart. The host always answered are questions at a timely manner. We would recommend it to anyone.

Fishing Hideaway

Excellent accommodations as advertised. Golf cart was a fun bonus to tour the vicinity. Communication with the Host was superb, timely & much appreciated! TV remotes were a bit of a pain without instructions or a cheat sheet for those not totally computer competent but was not there to watch TV... only a brief daily news update. Refrigerator in garage was not fully operational-- lower unit not cooling but freezer was fine... advised host for need of service. Could use "wash cloths" in addition to towels but other than that a fantastic hideaway & will most definitely book again for next year's fishing hideaway!
