We have two independent cottages on the first floor of our family villa. For nature lovers. Each cottage has a private terrace of 25m2 in the tropical nature and a private entrance with outdoor kitchen and access to the swimming pool shared with the other cottage.
Ideal location, located 800m from the beach of Grande Anse (one of the most beautiful in Guadeloupe).
Please note: The environment is close to the river, the children remain in the middle of the village. We have two independent cottages on the first floor of our family villa. Each cottage has a private terrace with outdoor kitchen and access to the swimming pool shared with the other cottage.

The pool was lovely and clean and very idyllically placed by the forest. The home was lovely and the host very welcoming. The only point I would make is there are no hooks for towels or clothes to hang in the bathroom, and the beach is not walking distance, but everything else was charming and excellent value for money. I would highly recommend the gite.

Endroit modeste vraiment paisible parmi une très belle végétation. Hôtes attentionnés et chaleureux, plusieurs suggestions d'activités à faire proposées. Lit un peu bas et dur pour nous mais on s'y fait après quelques jours.

Un nid douillet dans un jardin paradisiaque

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable aux Vanilles. Le gite est conforme à l'annonce, confortable, décoré avec goût et d'une propreté impeccable. On s'y sent bien. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Clarisse et Didier sont très accueillant, pleins de bons conseils et d'attentions (punch, bananes du jardin). C'était un réel plaisir d'échanger avec eux. Le gîte est situé à côté de Deshaies, petite ville très sympa. Et que dire du jardin, si ce n'est qu'il est vraiment époustouflant. On ne peut qu'être émerveillé. Nous espérons vraiment pouvoir revenir aux Vanilles ! Merci encore pour ces merveilleux jours dans votre véritable paradis

Nice place next to the forest

Alles in allem war die Ferienwohnung wunderbar! Soweit fehlt es an nichts, die Basics sind vorhanden. In diesem tollen Klima braucht man ohnehin nicht viel. Wir wurden durch die Gastgeber herzlich empfangen und immer mit guten Tips, Ratschlägen versorgt. Nebenan gibt es eine zweite Ferienwohnung, was kein Problem darstellt, aber durchaus gut zu wissen ist. Ein gutes Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten!

Perfecto

L’emplacement est excellent, à 5 minutes de marche de la plage grande anse. Le logement a tout ce qu’il faut, une vrai petit havre de paix. Les hôtes, Clarisse et Didier, sont parfaits! À la fois discrets et disponibles, ils sont très accueillants et offrent de très bons conseils pour bien profiter de votre séjour en Guadeloupe.

Nous avons passé une super semaine avec nos deux enfants de 6 et 10 ans . Les propriétaires ont été très accueillant et réactif . Très bon emplacement pour visiter basse terre .

Lorsque nous retournerons en Guadeloupe, c'est là-bas que nous poserons nos valises. Nos bananes murissent, nous avons mangé la noix de coco en famille à notre retour ! Merci pour cet accueil...chez vous, on s'est senti chez nous...

Superbe séjour sous les alizés

Magnifique endroit où nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison,aux cotés de Clarisse et Didier qui nous ont chouchouté avec des tas de petites attentions. Idéalement situé non loin de la plage de Grande Anse et pourtant avec le charme de la forêt tropicale.Que du bonheur.

Tout simplement parfait

Les Vanilles sont un véritable petit paradis ! Le cadre nous transporte instantanément dans une ambiance tropicale. Quel bonheur de se réveiller le matin au chant des oiseaux. Les gîtes sont charmants, décorés avec soin et surtout impeccablement équipés. Clarisse et Didier sont des personnes extrêmement sympathiques et très accueillantes. Malgré notre arrivée tardive, de petites attentions nous attendaient, et ils ont été de très bon conseil tout au long de notre séjour. Notre seul regret aura été de ne pas rester quelques jours de plus pour profiter davantage de l'environnement et de la sympathie de nos hôtes! Nous recommandons à 100%. Un grand merci Clarisse et Didier ! :-)

Great times at Les Vanilles

My family and our friends (who stayed at the other cottage) had such a great time at Clarisse's and Didier's spotlessly kept property. The unit was beautifully decorated, clean and had all the necessities to make a great spot to retreat after a sunny day at the beach (and there are many!). Pool is wonderful addition to already splendid place. Clarisse and Didier were very welcoming and caring and their smiles bright up even rainy days. Car is essential to my opinion, especially when with kids. Deshaies is few kilometers away but there is great little restaurant apprx. 500 meters from Les Vanilles, little before the roundabout.

Endroit fabuleux au milieu de la forêt tropicale

Nous avons passer un séjour fabuleux avec nos 2 enfants dans cette location au milieu de la forêt tropicale. Le seul bruit que l'on entend c'est le chant de oiseaux. Endroit très reposant. Location très bien équipée jusqu'à la glacière pour la plage!!! Je recommanderai sans problème votre location. Cordialement Michael

Merveilleux endroit

Les propriétaires ont un vrai sens de l'accueil et de la convivialité. Notre (trop) court séjour a été ponctué de gestes d'attention dans un environnement paradisiaque. Les photos parlent d'elles-même et cette région de l'île est merveilleuse.

La forêt tropicale dans les hauteurs de Deshaies

A 2 minutes de voiture de la plage de grande Anse et 5 minutes de Deshaies. Le gite est propre, joli, accueillant et situé au milieu de la foret tropicale, photos et description conforme à la description ! Le canapé lit du salon est très confortable et nous a servi des 2eme chambre indépendante. Merci encore à nos hôtes super accueillants et adorables !

Wonderful stay in lovely Gîte

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Karaibe Gîte. Everything was perfect and the Gîte is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Eric and Antoinette gave us a lovely breakfast on our first morning , wonderful desserts and bananas from the garden. Lovely welcoming people who looked after us very well. The garden faces the tropical forest and the sounds of the frogs and hummingbird s visiting are absolutely wonderful. So relaxing a place to be. Just a little note that there is no mobile phone signal available at property and you have to go in the car to the top of the hill nearby to get a signal.

Au calme avec une belle terrasse

Nous avons adoré notre séjour! L'accueil de Didier a été impeccable (et de très bon conseil). La terrasse permet de prendre ses repas avec une très jolie vue sur la mer en compagnie d'adorables oiseaux (sucriers) pas farouches. Le logement est très bien équipé et l'on se sent comme à la maison. La clim dans les chambres a été salvatrice pour fuir la chaleur extérieure. La proximité de la plage Leroux est un avantage indéniable. En moins d'une minute en voiture, on se retrouve sur cette petite plage qui est parfaite pour le snorkling et pour profiter du soleil sans être dans une foule compacte.

We actually came to Guadeloupe for the 4th time and this was definitely the best accomodation we had. The patio was virtually at the edge of the forest and the lush green plants and the birds were very impressive. The hosts were very friendly and they didn't only give us many useful advices but also helped us to organize things.

Gîte très agréable, conforme aux photos - un bon endroit pour se reposer et découvrir Basse terre, ses magnifiques plages à proximité et ses fonds sous -marins ! Antoinette et Eric sont accueillants, discrets et soucieux du bien-être de leurs locataires. A notre arrivée le dimanche soir, un apéritif nous attendait ainsi que le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner ce qui est très appréciable après une longue journée de voyage !
