Happy stay in Destin!

We loved our stay at Siver Shells St. Lucia! The only down side is traffic on The main Rd outside of the resort. Other than that, we highly recommend staying there!

Loved our stay.

Silver Shells property is great. This condo was great and had a great view. Although I would update the patio furniture. The pool is beautiful and easy walk to the beach. Their are restaurants in walking distance and Wal-Mart is just across the street. I would definitely stay here again.

Walking into our condo was like a breath of fresh air. The entire property was very well manicured and kept. This was our third year staying at Silver Shells and we definitely will be returning next year.

overall great place to stay close to everything and great on-property adimedties. Beds comfortable. Living room furniture is a little worn out. Dining table was sticky from finish but a 1.25 plastic table cloth fixed it. Would stay again.

Clean and spacious

This property was extremely clean! There was a bathroom inside each bedroom which was great for the privacy of the three adult groups that were staying for the week! We also enjoyed the full size washer and dryer. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be looking back for this same condo next year!

This property provides an excellent view of the ocean and city. It is located at the end on the 10th floor and the balconies provide a view all around. It was clean and the layout was great! It was close to everything and pool area was nice. We wish that it would have been stocked more for family stay, but overall great time was had by all!

Views were amazing in every room of this condo!! Clean. I would say furniture in living area was a little worn, however we weren’t there to watch tv. Would have loved an outdoor table. Plenty of space. Overall the space was wonderful and would love to stay in the same condo again.

Beautiful place…… but…..

Love the condo! Couldn’t ask for anything else, beautiful view. The resort grounds, pools, beach, all spectacular. But, there were large groups of unsupervised children and teens running around everywhere that made the hot tubs and sometimes pool unusable. Not sure what kind of youth groups they were with but you don’t usually see this at such a nice place. Several owners I spoke with said they had never seen it like this and they were upset about it as they were leaving trash and doing damage around the pool. They were not happy with Compass for renting to them. If not for the kids I would be back there in a second, but it really makes me rethink If I want to return.

Family vacation

I always read reviews before booking so I hope my review can help someone else. This is our 3rd time staying at St. Lucia and we absolutely love the property. The convenience of the pool and ocean is great. We love the beach bar and The Back Porch restaurant that is within walking distance. We also visit the candy shop every night for candy or ice cream. As for this specific unit. It was nice and just as the pictures showed. My kids loved that each bedroom had a private bath. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The water pressure and showers were amazing!The master bed was super firm and not my preference. And the living room furniture was very “loved”. It is cloth and not comfortable at all. Although we didn’t spend much time watching tv, it was hard to during the day because of the glare from the sun (I know, what a silly problem to have). But we did like to hang out for lunch and catch up on news/sports. It would be nice to have curtains to pull shut. Other than those few things, we enjoyed the unit and our stay very much!

The property was very clean and spacious! The compass resort staff were very friendly! Easy access to shopping restaurants entertainment and the beach. My family and I have already made plans to return next year with our friends!
