Come relax at the Emerald Coast of Destin Florida in this beautiful, completely remodeled, 3 bedroom/3 bath dream condo that sleeps 8 people. This luxurious condo features over 1,693 square feet of living space and a spacious balcony with a private elevator that opens directly into the foyer of the condo. Enjoy the amazing ocean view from the private balcony and peaceful sounds of the waves while relaxing in the 2 full size lounge chairs and dine on the balcony with the outdoor dining table.

You will be mesmerized by the views of the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico while relaxing in the grand living area through the wall to wall glass windows/doors that overlook the ocean. The fully equipped kitchen contains all new stainless-steel appliances (refrigerator, range, and microwave) and boasts beautiful quartzite countertops with a large farm-house style sink. The kitchen also contains both traditional and K-cup style coffee pots, blender, crock pot, along with many other traditional kitchen amenities.

The two primary bedroom contain king size beds and have breathtaking ocean front views. Each master has its own private door to the balcony overlooking the beach. The first master bedroom has an oversized shower with rain shower-head, large free-standing soaking tub, double vanities with quartzite counter tops and a separate toilet area for privacy. The second master bedroom also has its own private full bathroom with quartzite countertops. The third bedroom contains two full size beds, and the sofa also converts to a queen size bed.

This unit offers internet access, cable TV and contains a full-size washer and dryer.

Silver Shells Beach Resort and Spa is the one of the most luxurious resorts in Destin and the ultimate vacation spot. St. Maarten is the only building at Silver Shells that is both Gulf front and allows weekly vacation rentals.

In the Silver Shells Club, there is Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and a luxury day spa. Outside, there is a 7500 sq. ft. lagoon swimming pool, a shallow children's pool, a hot tub, children's playground, and water sport rentals.

Absolutely wonderful property and we for sure will look to come back. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Walking distance to the Back Porch and local shops access to the beach can't be beat. And we LOVED the beach bar!!! Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful condo with private elevator. Loved having two suites with ocean views and king beds. Great patio to watch the sunrise and sunset! Would definitely stay here again.

This property had everything we wanted and needed. It’s one of the cleanest properties we’ve stayed at. The elevator opening into your room was an added bonus. We took our family for a week (all adults), and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We love Silver Shells! The amenities are wonderful and our condo was great! We love the layout of the condos where you have a foyer and your elevator takes you straight to your room, no need to drag everything very far to and from the beach. Love the pool, the Sandbar has great food, drinks and service! Will definitely be back!

Great stay for vacation

I recently stayed at this unit and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The unit was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The amenities were great a well-equipped gym, and a relaxing pool area. The location was also perfect to beach with easy access to local restaurants. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Wonderful time at the beach

This property is absolutely stunning! The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Kitchen is nicely equipped and you have everything you need to prep breakfast or a meal. The balcony is big and overlooks the ocean, where we several times witnessed dolphins swimming by. Nearby restaurants are in walking distance or just a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Great vacation

Beautiful property and location. There were a few broken things like the closet door in one of the bedrooms, oven drawer, freezer ice maker didn’t make ice for a few days and frosted over a lot, they said there were beach chairs but there weren’t. But overall, it was a great vacation and a great property. I recommend it!

Updated beach front bliss

Destin is my happy place and this condo is beautiful. Conveniently located in the heart of Destin with lots of amenities on grounds. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The rental company was very easy to work with. My one suggestion would be not to have to get your check in packet off grounds. It would be easier if it were left in the condo for the guest. Overall though not a deal breaker and we would stay here again.

Great view of gulf. Repairs are needed though. Freezer does not give ice and it frosts badly. Laundry room doors are broken. Toaster has previously been dropped with a big dent. Some ants. Toilet paper holder need replacing as it is broken.

Overall, would definitely recommend this Destin property. We had a group of 5 adults, could have easily been comfortable with 6–but no more! Tasteful, updated decor; would have liked to have seen a bit more attention to detail in regard to cleanliness. Was by no means filthy, but everything could have used a thorough go through—furniture, walls, floors—etc. Didn’t feel comfortable going barefoot! Had thought that daily beach service for two was included, but was evidently mistaken. Many other listings do include this at Silver Shells, and is a significant feature—as you cannot utilize personal chairs/umbrellas, and beach service for two is over $60 daily.

Lovely stay at Silver Shells St. Maarten

The condo appeared to have been recently updated. The unit was clean on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked (including crock pot) with plenty of pots, pans, mixing bowls, utensils, etc. The trash chute is located very close to unit so trash removal is quick and easy. We utilized the beach service (chairs/umbrella) and they were great! There’s also a small snack/bar hut on the beach that we tried and the drinks were great and the snacks we got were tasty! We only used the pool a couple of times but it was clean and very nice. This property is located basically across the street from a Walmart so getting basic needs was convenient! We would definitely stay on this property again. We ran into friends from our home town on our last day there and they told us it was their 18th year coming to Silver Shells! They love it that much!

I found the property manager hard to get in touch with on Sunday when they sent an email out about my check out time and things to get done. I got this email on Sunday. My check out is Monday. No where in the email did it say when you check out Monday or the date of my check out. It was confusing and it took too long for someone to get back to me. The rental companies emergency number goes to voice mail.

Overall the property was nice. Remodeled and everything up to date as described. Incredible view and location. A few small complaints, most of the furniture was visibly dirty from past renters. This definitely should be addressed. Some things could have been cleaned better… showers, sinks ect. It looked like the cleaners where either rushed or just did not care about details. They could also do better with the linens. Not many extras provided and the sheets installed “clean” should be replaced. A few stains would be tolerable if there would have been extras to change ourselves. Disappointed in the overall quality of bed linens with the price point of the stay.

Not what was advertised!

We have always loved staying at Silver Shells Resort. This unit was a little disappointing one of the rooms wasn’t cleaned there were food wrappers under the bed pillows stuffed under the bed. There weren’t any remote controls for the tv in one of the bedrooms. The rug was clearly not vacuumed. The foyer had something sticky spilled on the floor and it wasn’t cleaned up. Completely obvious as you got off the elevator. The blender in the kitchen did not have a lid. The iron did not work. The condo was advertised as newly renovated there were holes in the utility room doors that it is patched not painted and one of the doors was off the track. The washer and dryer were very loud and the dry took forever to dry anything. Every time you turned the dryer on there was a very loud screeching sound. In the living area one of the chairs was clearly broken, every time you sat in it, the chair mad a terrible noise and it had made scratches all over the wall behind it. There were utensils in the kitchen that were rusting. We were just disappointed when we compared this to other stays at this property and others in the area. You shouldn’t have to spend the first two days of your vacation addressing issues like this. The issues were addressed, however we had no confidence in the cleanliness of the rest of the unit. The location was amazing as always, but I would not stay in this unit again.

Great stay

It was a very nice property and it was well cleaned. The beach was “private” during daytime peak hours so it wasn’t crowded at all. I do wish I had known that we couldn’t have our own personal tents/umbrellas on the beach because that could have saved me some packing space. But oveeall, it was an awesome rental. 👍
