Memorial Day CheckIn available for up to six night stay! Rare last week of June available for 6 night stay Sunday 6/22 -Saturday 6/28.

Tropical Breeze is a private home located across from Crystal Beach in the upscale community of Terra Cotta Terrace in Destin, Florida. Just a few minutes to the private beach access you will find yourself on a soft sugar-white beach with dazzling emerald waters. You can easily walk to the beach or drive the golf cart. The 6-seater golf cart is included in the rental price.

Tropical Breeze is a three-bedroom, three bath vacation home which features a bright decor, a private balcony off the master suite to have your early morning coffee or late night cocktail, a garden tub in the master bath with shower for late evening relaxation, and a king-sized bed for your sleeping comfort. At the opposite end of the upstairs is a guest bedroom with two double-sized beds, a large walk-in closet, and its own private bath with a tub/shower combination. The downstairs guest bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and a private bath with a walk-in double shower. Each bedroom has its own private bath. There is also a pullout couch on the main floor. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Technology: cable TV, Sonos Music Speakers, WIFI, SmartTVs, Apple TV’s. New 65” OLED Smart TV installed 11/22. All bedrooms have a TV.

Outside:
Private full-size pool is NOT a plunge pool. There is an outdoor closet with beach chairs, rafts, pool toys etc. The outside deck was recently restored and a new grill is onsite. Our house is also dog friendly.

Note:
Dogs allowed with fee of $175 for one dog and $50 for each additional dog. An additional $50 cleaning fee also applies. (There are weight LIMITS and restrictions so please inquire in advance of booking)

Pool heating fee is $50/day or $250 for the week. (Please contact us to add this option to your booking. We can include a quote with heating but instant booking does not have this option)

Check-in and check-out notes: For Summer 2025 stays will be from Sunday to Sunday. It's less busy to travel and get your groceries on this day!! Please inquire if wanting to stay longer than 7-days when booking and we can provide options.

Great property

We really enjoyed the location, the pool, and the golf cart. Having the golf cart included in the property reservation made it very convenient for moving around the area and shuttling family and items to the beach. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Perfect getaway close to beach

Loved our stay! The golf cart made getting around to restaurants and shopping a breeze! The house is well maintained and clean. The pool out back was wonderful for morning and late evening swims. The resort had a large pool and other amenities that we didn’t use. Hoping to book again for next year!

Wonderful trip! Great location. Golf cart is key! It was a mom and four sixteen year olds. They had the upstairs and I had peace on the main floor. Pool was warm and a great addition. We loved the golf cart and the freedom it gave us!Highly recommend this location!

Disappointed

This property has certainly not been well maintained over the years and through the many times it has changed hands/managers. Overgrown shrubs made it difficult to walk down to pool area. Pool patio was a mess. Pool was a mess. There was a dead rat that had been rotting on the pool patio for probably 1-2 weeks as it was infested with maggots and many other bugs. 2 dead and 2 live palmetto bugs(cockroaches) in the house. Endless lightbulbs out and things broken. House was barely spot cleaned but not thoroughly cleaned. Many repairs needed. Tried to clean up and fix up what we could which we shouldn’t have had to do on a VACATION! Reached out to property manager about the dead rat the very first day and after hours I had to clean it up because they wouldn’t get someone out for another day or so. Just overall not a pleasant experience at the house. It used to be taken much better care of than it has been in recent years. If it wasn’t for the location of it and the golf cart it would have been a complete let down. Won’t be back unless major changes are made and someone actually takes care of it and cleans it up.

The property was very clean. Lots of beach toys & towels. Very close to the beach. We had issues with the golf cart but talked to the owner about it. Easy communication. Be sure to read the checkout list closely.

What a great place for family vacay!

Absolutely wonderful place, great location, and easy to communicate with owner. The golf cart was an awesome bonus, as the beach commute with beach towels, umbrella, cooler, etc was easy to transport. What a quick walk too if you don’t have to carry a lot of stuff! Absolutely loved oir stay and definately stay again and again. Thank you Car!

Summer Getaway

Property was nice. Beds comfy. Seating nice. Pool small and a bit to enclosed felt a little claustrophobic. I usually bring my own pan to cooked breakfast but forgot and the pan were bad. We have alway been right across from beach. So didn’t go as much because didn’t feel like carrying stuff and even to get closer hard to wheel wagon up concrete barrier. Loved the golf cart. We always rent one so have it there was nice. Overall we had a great time but will look at other properties for a better pool and better beach access.
