Yellow House is a charming, recently remodeled family oriented home just one block from the beach and the beautiful Atlantic shore. It is one of the Premier properties of Rehoboth By The Sea custom built by one of the oldest families of Delaware. NEW FOR 2026-PUTTING GREEN! Yellow House is owned by the original family and has been beautifully maintained and furnished. All of the 2022 & 2023 & 2024 & 2025 guests have given the home a 5 STAR REVIEW and several are booking their stay for 2025. Yellow House achieved PREMIER HOST STATUS based on Guest Satisfaction IN THEIR FIRST YEAR OF HOSTING!! The home features a fabulous Master Bedroom with sitting area, oversized jacuzzi tub and large tiled shower with dual sink vanity. Three other bedrooms along with a stunning bathroom completely updated in 2020 complete the upstairs sleeping area. The beautiful first floor kitchen and dining area were also remodeled in 2020. The extra large living room area with plenty of seating area for all is comfortably furnished and a great place to gather with family and friends. Also on the first floor is a convenient half bath also renovated in 2020 as well. A washer and dryer is available in the home as well as an additional full size refrigerator. An outdoor shower is conveniently located to wash off that sand from the beach! Walk outside and there is a marvelous deck with seating for 10 surrounded by beautiful landscaping, with a retractable awning, and a propane grill to prepare those Summer evening delicious meals! After dinner you will enjoy playing CORN HOLE or GOLF right in the backyard. Less than a block away is Fifer's Market where you can pick up your fresh fruits and vegetables and other items such as fresh bakery goods, etc. Dewey Beach restaurants are within walking distance and the Jolly Trolly to take you to Rehoboth Avenue and the Boardwalk is located just across the street!

Fantastic Vacation Spot for Family of 5 at the Yellow House

When you're a family of 5 it can be hard to find something that pleases everyone... but this place did just that! All of the small touches made it feel more like a home than your average beach rental; we truly loved all of the personal touches from the owner. The location was also great, and the check-in process was smooth... not to mention a bottle of wine left for Mom and Dad after a busy day of travel! While we loved our stay the entire time we were there, we actually had a huge smile on our face when we LEFT... as the owners provided all of our kids with caramel popcorn for the ride home. What an amazing property, with hosts that embrace the idea of what a VRBO should be. 5/5 stars in every category.

Exceeded expectations

Terrific, clean house in a great location. The kitchen is small but well-stocked. It was nice having access to a grill. The master bedroom is a good size. The other bedrooms are a bit small but still very comfortable. Beach chairs and umbrellas were also provided. We enjoyed meeting Len and his precious dogs.

The inviting Yellow House

Our experience with this location was wonderful. The owners live next door and could not be more gracious. We were greeted by the owner, Len, with a bottle of wine and a Rehoboth cap, and given a personal tour of this lovely home. The Yellow House was perfect for our sisters week at the beach. 🌞

Lynn and Sally are awesome hosts! The house was great, well maintained, close to the beach and activities. We will definitely return. A GREAT vacation house!!!!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week and Len’s Yellow House in Dewey. Both he and Debbie were very attentive to our queries and requests. The house was true to the pictures and was very clean and extremely well appointed with all the necessities a vacationer could ask for. Its location to the beach, and Rehoboth was a huge selling point and we navigated them on foot. I would highly recommend Len’s house to anyone looking for a relaxing, centrally located property.

Great house with a lovely deck and back yard. Only one block to the beach, which was surprisingly not crowded for a beautiful sand beach! Restaurants, mini golf, a farm market, etc. also within easy walking distance. House had everything we would want and the property manager was very helpful and responsive. Great overall experience!

Lovely House Close to the Beach!

My family and I stayed at the Yellow House this June. We can't say enough about our stay! The house was perfect for our two teenage girls and one friend as well as our two dogs. I was very happy to see a wonderfully stocked kitchen so that we could make big dinners. We also enjoyed the back deck with retractable awning - perfect for morning coffee and evening dinners! Being a block from the beach and east of Route 1 was exactly what we were looking for. Everyone could walk to the beach whenever they wanted without worry of crossing a major roadway. And the dogs were allowed on the beach in the early morning and evening! Len and Sally were wonderful hosts and it was nice to get to know them over the course of the week. Highly recommend!
