The home was beautiful, great we could all have our own bedrooms, 3 bathrooms worked out great. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of dishes, utensils and appliances were great. One issue was there was no coffee, lots of filters, no coffee. I would have brought some if I knew. The house is not located in a spot that it is easy to get to a store. There were a lot of other things like sugar, rice, and flour. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable.

We stayed in Dodgeville for a sibling reunion after the passing of our mother. We had a wonderful weekend and this home was the perfect spot to honor her and all the things that she loved. The property was private and in a beautiful setting of wildflowers and woods. It was clean and very well appointed. The bedrooms were extra comfortable and fit our family well. They had everything we needed in the kitchen to make many family meals, including special little touches like marshmallow forks and bug spray (although we didn’t even need the spray). We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace as well as the multiple seating areas on the deck. It was very quiet and peaceful but also conveniently located near Dodgeville and Governor Dodge State Park. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect, fun & comfy retreat

Everything was perfect. The place was recently remodeled and had many very nice touches. We were able to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck every morning, taking in the lovely wildflower landscape. The house accommodated the different sleep schedules- those of us who wanted an early night had no problem with folks talking and/or watching tv upstairs. The interior has some fun decor for movie and TV buffs, and some nice, playful art pieces all around. Beds very comfy, plenty of fresh towels and linens. The kitchen had everything we needed. Wi-fi worked very well. All in all an excellent stay! We hope to come back in the future.

The location was handy and the property was exceptional. Beds were comfortable and the living room is a great space to gather for games, movies or relax with a book. The kitchen had everything we needed and there is ample dining space for larger groups, inside or on the deck. We made use of the fire pit and very clean grill and watched the fireflies at night. It’s very quiet, private and clean. Towels and linens provided were high quality. The host was very thoughtful and communicative. Our family truly enjoyed this easy-to-enjoy home.
