White Ghost Ranch is known for raising beautiful Whitetail deer for both sport and sale. In past years, this exclusive property has only been open to hunters and personal friends. The owners expanded the original White Ghost Cabin property in 2017 and are now offering the public the opportunity to stay at this Hill Country paradise. Whether you are visiting the area for family fun, seasonal recreation or a business escape, this secluded and expansive property has so much to offer for your group.

*This listing only includes bedrooms located in the new expansion, White Ghost Lodge. When you are looking at a photo of the property from the front, White Ghost Lodge is located on the left while the original cabin (White Ghost Cabin) is located on the right. The two are connected by the covered porch area with hot tub, pool table, dining area, fireplace, outdoor kitchen and bathroom. This outdoor area is considered common space.

This beautiful Lodge boasts all new construction with top of the line finishes, amenities and furnishings. Downstairs you will find a gorgeous custom kitchen with dining for up to 10, a grand living room with television, bar area and shuffleboard table, and 2 king bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms have their own television, walk-In closet, vanity and toilet, and they share a walk-in shower with rain water shower head. An additional king bedroom and bunk bedroom with pull out sofa are located upstairs. Each of these bedrooms has their own television, walk-in closet and vanity, and they share a toilet and walk-in shower with rain water shower head.

The outdoor area has a fireplace, kitchen with grill and sink, dining for up to 12, a sitting area with television, hot tub, pool table and bathroom with toilet and sink.

Apart from amenities at the home, you can also enjoy Wildlife tours and hunting; these are available seasonally for an additional price. These excursions need to be arranged well in advance in order to allow for accommodations to be made.

For a small fee there is a shuttle service that can pick you up and take you around to some wonderful wineries in Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. We are here to help make your vacation a pleasant experience.

Peace and Quiet

They went out of their way to make us comfortable and I am so thankful to have been able to spend our 25th anniversary at your beautiful property. I was so thankful to be able to get to meet the young lady and man that cares for the property. They are the heart of the place. I wish we could have been able to see more of the property and been able to fish but was super thankful to be able to bottle feed one of the babies. We stayed here for 3 nights to witness the Apr 8 total solar eclipse with our children and another family with small kids. I can tell you this was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed at. Danielle, a staff member and our main contact while on the property, was absolutely amazing with accommodating all of our needs, brought us extra chairs and helped set up for the big event. Is so beautiful out here and the building is so thoughtfully crafted and well maintained. I am blown away and my family and friends will never forget this amazing experience, made possible by this awesome property.

Great Weekend

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday. Went on tours at Garrison Distillery and 5 different wine tastings in the Hye- Fredericksburg corridor. Also great dinners in Fredericksburg. Enjoyed evening and mornings at the Lodge watching the abundant trophy white-tail deer and baby fawns that this ranch is famous for. You will love staying here. I highly recommend it.

Simply the best.

The property was absolutely amazing. It was very peaceful and quiet. The house was beautiful and very well stocked. There was a lot of activities and games to play as well. This is the best rental property I have ever stayed at. If you like the country, you will love this place.

Beautiful lodge retreat

The photos look really nice but it really does not do the place justice. The 1st thing we noticed is how extremely clean the place is. The decor is phenomenal and the attention to every detail made our stay that much memorable. They entrainment areas inside and outside are so much fun. We didn't have plans to use the hot tub but the host was so awesome and had cleaned, filled and set the tub to the perfect temperature, we ended up doing a Walmart run to get some shorts to take a dip. We are glad we did. 1/2 the party was able to relax in the hot tub while the other half did the grilling and hung out. The shuffleboard was so much fun. One of the nights most of our friends were gathered around the fireplace (which is started with a flick of a switch) listening to music and my husband and I were enjoying a competitive game of shuffleboard. At first we were without music since our speaker was being used by the group which stayed by the fireplace. We didn't want to spend time figuring out the speakers in the house. I'm glad we did! It was so easy, just install an app on your phone and the Sonos speakers sound so great, we are planning on get some for our home. Fully stocked kitchen, linens and towels. We were a party of 4 couples and never felt crowded. They house if very spacious and so nice we are already planning our next visit. Thanks much to the host, you have an awesome setup.

Spring break at White Ghost

We were a party of 12, mostly adults with two teenagers. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and the cabins were pretty clean and well-decorated. Pam is very responsive and she accommodated our late checkout request (by 2 pm) upon request. We definitely would love to visit again.

Excellent getaway

This was the getaway we needed! Perfect place out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Very relaxing and we enjoyed watching the deer. The house is gorgeous and our boys enjoyed playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful property. Vacation on vacation.

We loved our stay at White Ghost . It was 30 mins from Fredericksburg which was fine for us we aren’t a all day walk around and shop crew. Although we did spend a couple of days doing it. We didn’t get to climb Enchanted Rock because we didn’t get reservations in time but Cross Mountain was. Nice quick trail. The Hot tub and Shuffle board were a huge hit. We loved the view of the property and the Lodge was a work of art essentially. Everything was top of the line and well taken care of. The property manager met us at arrival and that was so very helpful. We would stay here again.

Family fun

The lodge was fantastic. The design and unique details were gorgeous. We had a group of 7 who love playing games, so the pool table, corn hole and shuffleboard table were perfect! We also had a wonderful meal at The General Store close by. Definitely recommend this place!

Best Birthday Trip Ever!

I love everything about this property, one of my favorites and I have stayed at several places. Danielle was amazing and very helpful. The wildlife was a plus and our group had so much fun playing pool, listening to music on the nice speaker system that was inside and outside, and getting in the hot tub. We are planning on returning and want to book the wildlife tour.

Beautiful joined property

The property was beautiful and so was the house and amenities we were however shocked that this was a conjoined property that had a shared common area rather than a private ranch home. Had I known that in advance we would have booked both cabins. I am thankful the other guests were okay with this otherwise this would have severely impacted the quality of our stay. The listing has since been updated, but we were shocked to find out this detail only when we arrived
