I like this place as there are rooms on the ground flour and there are 2 car parks. The room given to us was a family room and it was very spacious. The room was clean and plenty of lights. Convenient for my husband as he has reduced mobility. And you could eat in as there is pub and restaurant.

Miserable looking staff that did not want to be there, never any more than 2 tea bags even on a 4 night stay, drab food, stained carpets, just don’t bother

Clean, staff friendly. Perfectly fine except the thermostat on the radiator was broken and it blasted out heat all night. The only windows were high skylights and either it wasnt clear how to open them or they didnt really open. So unbearably hot all night. There was a tall fan which I had on all night so it seems the issue is known but not fixed. But for this I would have given 5 stars all round. No lift but thats normal. Suggested small improvement - some decaff tea in the room and some oat milk sachets but I dont know any hotel that provides these. Nice hotel, shame about the thermostat.
