Disappointing Hotel spoiled our trip

First day of checkin we found several floor tiles in bedroom all cracked and broken with sharp edges dangerus to walk on it Also noticed Roches in the room Sofa bed broken Hotel staff could not change our room cuz no other room was available for 2 days We even tried to find another hotel but could not find apartment hotel or suite that could accomodate 6 person After 2 days we moved to another room that also had roches Terrible experience Also very far from metro Hotel staff would not even help us to get a taxi Very very bad would never recommend any one

I would not recommend this hotel

The people/staff were nice. However, the condition of this hotel is very poor. Our number one disappointment was that their only pool was under maintenance the entire 5 days we were there. They refused to give us a discount for this even though we paid 8000 ZAR (over $120/night) for a hotel WITH A POOL. In addition, we had NO hot water for the first 3 days because the water heater switches were turned off. And both TVs in our room would not work properly. When the staff finally got our TVs to work, we found only a couple english channels after searching the channels for ever even though they advertise CABLE TV. I am sorry to say, but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good family hotel in a quiet but accessible area

Thought I'd seen something about a sofa bed when I was making a booking? The apartment needs a revamp on fittings, specially the bathroom. There is a bad cockroach problem which needs attention. Wish they'd offer washing dishes, even at a fee. Kids sad the pool was out of order during our stay. The staff was very accommodating and very attentive and hospitable. They created a lovely atmosphere and made our holiday great!

low cost accommodation

Position OK but room falling apart! Comfy beds but everything is seriously old. Toilet seat falls off, floor tiles were dirty, food remains left in plates and oven mitt. Budget accommodation!
