This is an adorable little hometown motel. Very clean. We could hear the rodeo from our room. It was a neat Wyoming experience. I recommend staying here and would do so again. I rated the staff a 3 because they look down on us city folks. This could easily change. Super adorable front area outside.
Noticed the rates were half of what I paid 3 days before I arrived and couldnât get ahold of anyone to get mine changed. The hot cold water was inconsistent for temperature.door wouldnât lock. No one was ever at desk. We got 1 towel for five days stay. No new towels.
Compared to our last visit this one was the worst. When we arrived at the hotel I decided to check the shower head to see how the pressure was and upon that I turned on the hot water and nothing. So I called the front desk and they had said that with the cold temperatures the pipes were freezing. The front was going to check on all the other rooms to see if there was any hot water but come to find out they were all not working. Honestly who would rent out rooms if their pipes were frozen. Moving on, next was the sheets on the bed. They were covered in pet hair. As was the floor and the extra blanket in the room. Luckily we packed our own blankets and ended up sleeping on the floor. Yes we could have asked for a refund and got a different hotel, but it was cold outside and the chances of finding another hotel were slim due to the number of people in town.
Customer service was great. I booked the wrong room. They quickly got me in the room I needed without complaint. I will definitely be staying there again.
I had chose this location for the gym access and upon arriving and speaking with the front desk staff (who was on a personal call for a few minutes before speaking with us) was told a waiver was needed to be signed. Thats understandable. However, the issue arises when the staff member said he didnt have any paper copies and while on the phone and using the hotelâs main computer he cannot find the file to print any copies either (without looking for a file) and couldnt give an estimate within the next 24hrs when a physical copy would be available. The staff member also stated that we could drive into town to purchase a day pass and use the public gym downtown. I understand most go for the parks near by but if you were excited to stay at this location for the awesome gym in the above pictures, dont be let down if you dont get the chance. The rooms were clean, the heater thermostat would turn its-self off which is manageable, but the lack printing out one page as the only request the whole stay was disappointing.
This is a funky place to stay! Excellent access to the river, and sweet places to sit there. Chickens who follow you around. The room was big. The bed and towels were great. The shower not so much. But Iâd stay here again.
Gorgeous area. Adorable cabins. Free roaming chickens and lots of lawn games. Hot tub wasn't working correctly and coffee maker in the room didn't work. Self check-in was convenient, but made it a little difficult to ask for assistance. A very pleasant place to stay and one I would look for again.
The room did not have a working heater so they brought us space heaters, which was very odd instead of putting us in another room, but I have a feeling none of their heaters were working. There also was not a hairdryer in the room and we tried to go get one but there was nobody in the office until 9 AM a little late for hairdryer by then We had to leave after one night because of fires in the area, they werenât evacuating, but there was no place to go.
