The facility is old but in good condition. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The only negative is the place itself is inside a building on a 2nd. floor not very accessible for seniors. Besides that all was okay.

A mixed bag

It clearly was a difficult time for the owners and our sincerest condolences to all the family. I struggled to locate the Orhan Rooms, no signs visible that I could see. The restaurant was closed due to the circumstances, so no breakfasts were available (totally understandable), but whilst the room was clean there were a number of issues… Plaster falling off the wall TV had no signal & the remote didn’t work. The power sockets were loose and not secured to the wall fully. The shower worked well, but was very tired and in need of renovations. On the positive side, the location is excellent for visiting the Old Town, a great place to base yourself from.

This is an amazing property and would recommend. There are a lot of stairs but that is everywhere in Dubrovnik

We arrived very early in the morning so we couldn’t check in but the waiter stored our luggage until 2pm. It’s hard to find the place, we had to ask locals. We had to deal with the waiter in the restaurant as the rooms are around the street. We were told only guests can have breakfast, even though I was going to pay for it. So since we didn’t check in yet, we were only allowed drinks. We had a small bottle of orange juice for €5.50, and coke also €5.50. Yelena took us to our room and she was very kind and helpful. We didn’t see her again. The room didn’t have tv and needed more cleaning. Some parts were very dusty. Shower door didn’t close and we had to hold the shower head but we dealt with that. Place is very close to nearby restaurants, mini market and buses. 5min walk to Pile Gate. The restaurant had beautiful views of the sea and the walls. Very disappointed about the service. Something happened that restaurant closed on our second day and we couldn’t have the breakfast that was included with our stay. No explanation or some sort of compensation given. Waiters could be more attentive to guests.

The rooms have seen better days

The room was quite dilapidated, eg electric sockets hanging from the walls. Some towels, whilst washed, did have stains on them. Restaurant owners were friendly.

Located a couple of minutes from Pile Gate with views of both The Wall and the Fort when you sit waterside at the Orhan Restaurant for your complimentary breakfast. Clean, simple and budget-friendly.

This is a family owned business for 30+ years and you can tell. I was treated so kindly by all the staff. The location is fantastic and it was so nice to wind down the evening with a beverage listening to the water in a quiet spot. Breakfast was great too. I didn't want to move on to my next city vs stay there, relax and enjoy.

Perfect location in Dubrovnik

We received a very friendly welcome checking in at the restaurant and the service at breakfast was also good. The rooms are basically good but a bit tired. There was a sofa and fridge in the room which is good for this price range and the location is hard to beat for access to swimming areas as well seconds from Dubrovnik old town. Recommeded for a stop over to be close to the heart of the action but also quiet and outside of the town walls. Breakfast was a choice of a la carte breakfast menu options and tasty.

Accomodation was in a great spot. Very close walking distance to the old town and restaurants. Did have delays in check in but was sorted quickly. Receive breakfast which is an option of scrambled eggs or omelette. Rooms are old and dated but good price for the wonderful location.

The best location possible

Located steps away from the main bus stop and gate to the old city, lovely made to order breakfast with the most amazing seaview and extremely friendly staff, rooms are basic, but well worth it. Would highly recommend

Orhan Hotel was a fantastic hotel to stay in if you want to be in the old town. The staff were exceptional! A family run business. The location was perfect, walkable to everything, the dining terrace has beautiful views! Highly recommend staying here!

Although the area was fantastic with exceptional views of the ocean from their restaurant, the room itself was quiet outdated, unkept and small. The air conditioning worked great and water pressure was perfect. Staff is very kind and helpful. Having early tours, it was promised that a box breakfast would be ready for us on 2 occasions which were both forgotten. For their mishap, they were so kind to offer a free supper and drinks. Extremely challenging to find the hotel as the check in is actually at the Orhan restaurant.
