It was an okay stay. The pool area had way too much chlorine. In the hot tub it was burning our eyes. The breakfast was not stocked well and was a mess. There was only one poor lady trying to do it by herself.

Lots of loud guests in the hallways and many slamming doors with no one around to handle the situation. We had one roll of toilet paper in the room and ran out. We saw another guest carrying 2 rolls of toilet paper to their room so I have to assume we were not the only ones affected by that situation. Just an average stay for us.

I've stayed here many years ago before it was updated. I liked it then even if it was older. Its a very unique building. We had a 2 bed 2 bath suite. Very spacious and I thought the update was very well done. We came in on a Sunday after a very busy Saturday night. Cleaning staff was overwhelmed. We didn't get to check in til an hour after normal check in time. That was ok because I understood how busy they'd been. HOWEVER, our room had been vaccumed and had clean towels. Other than that I'm not sure what else they did. I expect the room to be clean wherever I go. To say it was gross is an understatement. The capper for me was obviously recently stained sheets!!!! Ick. Yuck. Ahhhhh. Ok that being said, the front desk staff was consistently nice. I was very calm when I went to show a picture. She gave me the GMs email. I sent her an email right away and she responded with the most satisfactory outcome for me personally. So, bad stay. Good outcome overall. Would I stay again? Not sure but they did all the right things to try to make me happy. That says a lot to me.

The room was fine, however the front desk lady was very rude and unkind. We arrived late as we came from Minneapolis. Our children wanted to swim and there were no other people in the pool area (they are 15-17 yrs old) and she came in yelling and unreasonable saying it was adult only time and we had to leave. We would have understood if there were other guests but there wasn’t anyone! She was just very rude and mean to us and our children! She wasn’t very friendly on check in either.

Nice rooms and very close to bentlyville so we could walk. Nice that there was a bar in same building. Room was nice and big and clean. Disappointed that hot tub was working when we got there and when we came back from lights it was drained and out of service. Would have been nice to relax as this is why we booked a hotel with pool and hot tub
