The location was excellent and within easy walking distance of the city center. The bedrooms, living room, and kitchen were spacious. The shower had great water pressure, the blackout curtains worked well, and the dishwasher was a nice feature.Unfortunately, the condition of the house was unacceptable. There was no toilet paper, paper towels, or garbage bags upon arrival. When we contacted the host, we were told to buy them ourselves and request reimbursement through a difficult-to-use email address. The home sleeps six adults, yet only four bath towels were provided and there were not enough coffee mugs.The cleanliness was very disappointing. One closet was filled with 5’ of dirty bedding and towels. The carpets had not been vacuumed, there were burn marks in one bedroom, the floors were dirty, and moving a chair revealed heavy dirt underneath. The kitchen, living room, and walls all need a thorough deep cleaning, and the shower had visible mold.There were also serious maintenance issues. A lamp had a damaged plug, and I received a significant electric shock when turning it on. None of the windows opened, making it impossible to get fresh air into the house.We have photos documenting these issues. Given the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety concerns, we believe a partial refund is appropriate.
