Cozy Aspen Grove Retreat at Cascade Village (Unit #311) is an incredible mountain escape, with a full kitchen, wood burning fireplace (wood provided), and a deck off the living room facing the beautiful aspens that surround the complex and the distant mountains. Coin laundry in the building, parking garage, and just 2 miles to the ski slopes! This condo is larger than most 1-bedroom condos at Cascade and is all on one level inside. Other on-site amenities include a heated pool, hot tubs, sauna, game room, tennis court, and a ski rental shop. Free Ski Shuttle to Purgatory on a first-come, first serve basis.

The condo is fully furnished and offers all the comforts of home. This getaway features an open floor plan, full kitchen, fireplace, and deck with stunning views of aspens and mountains—perfect for taking in the sunrise and sunset each day. This place is the perfect location to snuggle up with a book, hike in the nearby national forest, or come home to a warm crockpot of chili after a day on the slopes.

LOCATION AND AMENITIES: Cascade Village has amazing views of the Needles Mountains, is less than 2 miles north of Purgatory Ski Resort, 26 miles north of downtown Durango, and 25 miles south of Silverton. Free on-site amenities at Cascade include an indoor heated pool, sauna, outdoor/indoor hot tubs, pool table and game room, outdoor tennis court, ski rental shop (with discounts). It is also near the Nordic Center for cross-country skiing, and near numerous hiking trails, fishing creeks and jeeps trails. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

SKI SHUTTLE: Purgatory offers a complimentary ski shuttle to our Cascade rental guests on a set schedule 1-2 times in the AM and PM during the ski season, on a first come first serve basis. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

WIFI / TV: All of the Cascade Village units are equipped with reliable Fiber Optic internet service with an average internet speed of up to 50 Mbps and guests can stream their favorite movies and TV shows on their preferred provider (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime) using the smart TVs in the unit. With fast and reliable fiber optic WIFI, guests can stream on multiple devices. Cable TV is not available in any units at Cascade Village.

NO PETS/ NO TRAILERS: Due to HOA rules, the condo (and all condos in the building) is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets/emotional support animals. Also, trailers are not allowed.

COOLING: Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

If you booked on a third party site (VRBO, Airbnb, etc), your cancellation is subject to their policy. We do offer travel insurance.
