Welcome to our 'Mountain Home' in one of Colorado's finest all season resorts and discover the magic at Durango Mountain Resort.

Our place has a private entrance, its own exterior entrance, helping guests retain separation and social distancing practices.

Summer time is a wonderful time to visit Durango and the resort. Make the best lifetime memories here with great activities for all ages.

Spring, Summer, and Fall: This is the time to explore deserted ghost towns, Mesa Verde Indian Ruins, Durango/Silverton Railroad, enjoy Colorado's cascading waterfalls, wildflowers, and breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountains. If golf is your game, it can only improve with the altitude (balls fly 14% farther) at the three championship courses in the area. The resort offers family ropes course, water runners, zipline, alpine slide, mountain bike trails and uplift, bungee trampoline, mechanical bull, climbing wall, miniature golf, disc golf and the all new Inferno Mountain Coaster.

Remodel just finished. All new kitchen cabinets, stainless steel applicances, granite counter tops, bath vanities, jetted tub, new mattessses, and professional decorated.

Winter Season: Our mountain home is not just a true 'Ski-In and Ski-Out' but we are directly on the ski slope (Yellow Brick Road - Beginer Slope). Ours is one of only 12 Edelwiss condos directly on the ski slope. No hauling your equipment across the parking lots or in the elevators. The fluffy powder (260 foot annual average) is your invitation to the best skiing, snowboarding, or snowshoeing. Then, at the end of the day, ski to your covered patio, step out of your gear, and step into your vacation hide-away.

The non-skier will have fun and excitement with snowmobile tours, dog sled rides, ice skating, sledding, riding the snow coaster (tubing), watch the downhill skiers and snowboards come down right outside your windows, and the incredible stargazing night tours. Of course, there is always great shopping, fine dining, art galleries, and the Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.

Gather around our cozy fireplace while enjoying the beautiful views and begin making memories with your family and friends. Sit and relax in our condo while viewing many mountain activities, skiers going by outside and the high-speed 6 passenger chair lift going up the mountain.

Our condo is perfect for your family vacation, reunion, or just fun with your group of friends. This spacious, four bedroom, three bath, luxury condo sleeps ten people comfortably, and has covered parking at your front door. Decorator furnished in natural Rocky Mountain style with art from local artists, and a warm relaxing wood burning fireplace (wood provided). Everyone is charmed by this tastefully decorated condo with a full-size kitchen, a romantic master suite, and all the comforts of home.

Whether you want to be in the heart of the action on the mountain, use our home for your base of operation to explore the Durango area, or if you just want to escape to the peace and quiet. Our mountain home is just the right place for your group.

2nd time to stay in this unit. Our family loves the set up and the convenience. Back patio overlooking the ski run is awesome. Indoor wood burning fireplace burns hot and is great after a long day on the mountain.

The condo was very nice. It most definitely would have been ski in/out had the snow conditions been normal. We’ve been skiing Purgatory for more than 30 years and have never seen the snow as scarce as it is this year. We would definitely return to this condo. What we learned is with 8 people stagger showers so everyone has hot water and no addl cookware is needed! It was well equipped. Also, views were lovely.

Unit was exactly as described, we loved it. Three levels, we stayed on middle level where the living area basically was to minimize stairs due to sensitive knees. Kitchen fully stocked with utensils, cookware and dishes needed for most any cooking. Just a few feet off back porch step in to skis and your on a run to get to lift 1. My adult kids loved the easy access to ski while we watched the grand child. Host was very responsive when contacted and easy to work with. Bring your shampoo and Kleenex box. Would easily stay here again if we ski Purgatory.

The condo was perfect for our annual ski trip. The kitchen had all the necessary things and all in good, working condition. The owner was quick to answer questions in the weeks prior to our arrival and offered a comprehensive list of things to see, do, and places to dine in the surrounding area. We’ve been coming to Purgatory for the past seven years and some of these were even new to us! The layout of the rooms worked well for us, 4 adults and 2 young teens. There was ample seating both at the dining table and in the living room. The bed linens and towels were very comfortable, and the room temperatures were easy to control. In all, it was a great trip and we’d love to return to this condo again.

Summer stay. Walk right out the back patio to the beautiful Purgatory resort. Local wildlife, mountain views, short hikes, stargazing, and 1-2 min walk to the resort center for activities. Really impressed with the kitchen supplies and equipment available! It's not often a home has everything we might have forgotten or didn't even realize we needed!

2 families, 4 adults 4 kids, loved the location, great deck overlooking mountain and hill for kids to sled. Had everything we needed, can be a little tight in the public areas with that many people but plenty of bedrooms to spread out.

Three generations of skiers. Plenty of room. Comfortable furnishings. Lots of games. Quiet. Enough firewood to run an iron foundry. Ski in and out. Parking for two vehicles. Host responded immediately to a minor issue which was taken care of. I'd stay again.

Great true ski in-ski out. Host/hostess was wonderful at communicating during the stay. Everything you could possibly want or need supplied in the rental. Beds are extremely comfortable and fans provided in every bedroom. Loved this place.

Purgatory resort condo

The location of this property is ideal if going between Durango, Silverton and Ouray. We spent the evenings with family by the fireside relaxing and playing games . It was nice to have four bedrooms a loft that sleeps two and three full bathrooms over all we would stay at this property again if going back to Purgatory.

Great place for family get-away

We enjoyed a peaceful and quiet get away with the family in Durango. The condo is right on the ski trail and it was fun to watch the mountain bike riders from the back porch. We loved the cool weather and location to hikes and other fun activities was great. The host provided good local recommendations as well a fully furnished condo.
