The cabin fit 7 people and two dogs very comfortably. Love that you can bring your fur babies with no extra charge or security deposit. We stayed in the cottage with a wonderful screen porch and an amazing view of the lake. The Marina bar was right in front of the cottage, which is perfect for a bit of fun. Also, really like that it closes at 11pm. Respectable time for all. Weâre definitely going back!! Met the owner, Great Guy!! Thank you Jim!!
Very well maintained property. Clean. Bar on site which was NOT our focus. Could be noisy with lots of people, cars not part of the renters. Made parking difficult esp with boat & trailer. Wanted more fishing experience, which they did provide dock first come first serve. Disappointed. Dogs welcome but not ALL pick up poop!
We stayed in the Eisenhower house. Four adults retirement age and our three dogs. This place needs new furniture for sure. Living room chair with ottoman has no foam left in seat or arms and youâre sitting on the wooden frame !! So uncomfortable!! Couch cushions sink down 12 inches when you sit down. Kitchen table wood beat up a bit. Kitchen very dark making it difficult to use counters and see what youâre doing while cooking. Bed mattresses just okay. Loved sitting on porch and seeing the lake. Rented pontoon for a few hours and two of us got completely soaked pants from the saturated wet boat cushions. It rained hard all day one day and the gutter by the front door was so blocked with debris that the water poured down in front of the door like a waterfall all day and we got soaked every time we took our dogs out. They donât cover pontoon boats at all and they get soaked from the weather. They gave us some wood for a fire and that was nice.
