NEW ! We have just upgraded our heating and energy efficient Central Air conditioning systems.
This beautiful 3 story custom built log home is uniquely available again this summer season .
GreyWood is located in a wonderful location at the edge of town with nearby views and access of Glacier National Park. It is situated on 3 acres of meadows, a large lawn and a live stream. Spacious, 1100 sq ft of wrap around decks and covered porches give everyone in your group privacy and room for your gatherings. The decks include Adirondack chairs , outdoor dining for 8 , bistro bar with stools and a large Weber grill . Interior of the house features 20” cathedral ceilings and expansive windows enhance your unobstructed views of the nearby GlacierPark mountains. Ample on-site parking is available for 4 vehicles. Ask about the separate fully furnished,downstairs walk out apartment, for GreyWood booking guests only! With beautiful views of the meadow, creek and mountains ! Additional fee is required.

GreyWood is adjacent to the Glacier Park Lodge golf course ( the first golf course in Montana !) and is also within close walking distance to art galleries, gift shops, restaurants and grocery stores. A convenient trailhead into GNP is merely 10 minutes walking from the front door. The less crowded Two Medicine entrance is only 12 minutes drive! It a locals favorite for day hiking , boat rides and daily picnics! The massive historic Glacier Park Lodge and its famous flower gardens, park presentations and fine dining are a few blocks down the street. The recently renovated fully functioning train depot serves Amtrak visitors to our area. Near the Lodge the depots photo museum boosts a colorful history of East Glacier Park’s beginnings.

A short drive north allows you access into three entrances into GNP: Two Medicine, St. Mary's (Going-to-the Sun Road), and Many Glacier Hotel. Some guests even enjoy crossing the border into Canada and visiting Waterton National Park. (Remember to bring your passports)
Whether your flying in or driving from Kalispell, Whitefish Bozeman, or Great Falls, East Glacier is centrally located with convenient access to Glacier National Park .

Our "Go To" Home in East Glacier Village

We've stayed at this home multiple times starting in 2021 (most recently June 2025) and I can say the home gets better and better. The owner is constantly improving the house, super clean, and is located in a perfect village to use as a base when hiking in East Glacier. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the East side of GNP!

Glacier Quick Trip

We had a really nice stay at the house. Beds were comfortable and it was very clean and well stocked. Only challenge we had was with the Wi-Fi and TV being a bit fussy but the owner was very responsive regarding this. The Wi-Fi was critical because our cell service did not work much in this region.

Awesome place to stay in East Glacier!

The house was amazing and located close to the park's east side entrances. We stayed here with family and had plenty of room for two kids and four adults to eat sleep and play. The large decks were great for grilling and relaxing and the huge living room was great for card games and family fun. We can't recommend this place enough. It was beautiful, clean, and the owner, Tana was super responsive and a great host!

Wonderful rental in East Glacier !

We had a great week at this lovely house! The host quickly replies if you have questions. The washer and dryer was a bonus so we did not have to pack much. We loved the location because you can enter Going to the Sun road from St. Mary’s and do not have to have a reserved pass. Highly recommended .
