100% whole Chestnut Log Cabin available to rent for a short getaway or long relaxing vacation. Peaceful & private with breathtaking views of the trout stocked creek from every window located on a private road.

The massive great room boasts gorgeous log detail and soaring height with gas fireplace, flat-screen TV, high speed WIFI, and over-sized leather sectional that provides seating for all! The upstairs loft overlooks the great room and offers an additional space to lay back and relax!

The cabin includes a dining room that seats six and a country kitchen, both rooms overlooking the rushing creek and equipped with full-size appliances, including a gas stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher.

Enjoy the 40’ concrete patio to the side of the home overlooking the Âœ acre lawn and creek! Perfect for entertaining with a wood-burning outdoor fireplace, table seating, propane gas grill, outdoor sectional and new gas fireplace!

This cabin will make you feel like you have disconnected but is conveniently close to all amenities, major roadways, and shopping. The cabin is steps away from the Bushkill Creek where you can swim, tube (some tubes are available for house guests), fish in the trout-stocked creek, or take a stroll and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Included in your booking are fresh bed linens, dishes, cookware, and one tank of propane gas (seasonally). Guests must provide their own bottled drinking water - the home is equipped with a well water system. Please be sure to read the rental information and agreement for a full listing of details.

We were not expecting the "housekeeper" to be staying in an RV right next to us. We also missed the fact there was no air conditioning except in the bedrooms - luckily it was not scorching hot. Its a great cabin, although some of the rooms are a bit dark. Perfect for what we were looking for. We had a great time and have no real complaints other than having a neighbor watching over us.

Property was exactly as described. Everything was clean and in working order. Property is secluded and right next to creek. If you are looking for a private stay in a actual log cabin with modern amenities this place is for you. Activities, stores, restaurants, golf, etc are all a short distance away while yoir stay is in secluded and private property. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Second last house at the end of a mile long stone road, only accessible to people who live there, no traffic all week to give us the privacy we were craving. Outdoor patio is perfect we spent at least 50% of our time out there. The interior of the house was so homey! I felt so comfortable there on entry.

Peaceful poconos vacation

The house and property were exactly what my family needed for a chill summer vacation!!We had a great time Fishing, sun bathing, and tubing at the creek by day and sitting by the fire pit over looking the creek by night!!

Great secluded property for a quiet retreat from everyday life. Road into property is perfect for morning and evening walks. Not far from restaurants or area points of interests ( falls, trails, etc.). Exactly what you'd expect for a rustic charm cabin.

This cabin was in a great location and we really enjoyed being close to the creek. My boys both caught two fish each! On our drive out of the cabin road we saw a black bear and also got to see a buck in yard to the cabin, so the wildlife is a plus. We also enjoyed Bushkill Falls that isn’t a far drive from the place. Only downside is that some things like the patio furniture could be updated and it could use a good deep clean. Overall it was a good time with plenty of things to do in the area. Our favorite thing we did was the Pennsylvania Rail Biking located in Hawley which is about an hour drive from the cabin but well worth it.

The bad: Wrong code for box, fortunately door was unlocked. Only two windows had screens. Some were taped up. No towels. No wood. Outside tables and grill had to be cleaned. Landscaping. The good: Location. Creek. New tubes and we really used them. Great atmosphere inside. Late one night we were visited by a bear and two large deer.

Stocked with everything we needed. Outside could use some cleanup, however, it’s been raining forever. I think the pictures made it look like the creek was right there by the patio but it is across the dirt road down a bank. Not far at all to walk to the spot that is in pictures. I did have to fold sheets that were in the dryer and take a load out of the washer and dry & fold also as soon as i got there, the washer and dryer were still running when we arrived. Overall though we had a great time!!! They had everything needed.

Excellent retreat!

The house is well cared for and clean, and so quiet/ relaxing! We loved the near by creek, and we were so close to Bushkill Falls and other hikes. Vanessa was very accommodating as well and we appreciated all her help!

Awesome view

Our stay was wonderful! The home was extremely comfortable and had everything you needed. The only downside was we couldn’t open any of the three bedroom window for fresh air. The living room had gorgeous windows but no screens. The only rooms with a screen on the first floor was the bathroom and kitchen . That is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars! Spectacular house for the winter months I’m sure

A wonderful family getaway

Our family of five, including our dog, had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this charming, clean cabin in East Stroudsburg, PA. The cabin was exactly what we needed: well-equipped for daily cooking and the perfect getaway to unplug and spend quality time together. We made ample use of the cozy nooks and crannies, including the family couch in front of the gas fireplace. The constant sound of the creek across the road created a peaceful environment, and we enjoyed exploring the area, which has a convenient location just 15 minutes from a main highway and various stores. The property manager was attentive and super responsive, and checking in and out was a breeze. We have already shared pictures and positive reviews with friends who are interested in visiting with their families and will definitely consider returning in different seasons, as the cabin exceeded our expectations.

Perfect place to disconnect and relax

Beautiful cabin in a gorgeous setting. The sound of the creek flowing was so calming. We needed a relaxing weekend away and this place was perfect. Comfy couches, patio with an outdoor fireplace, fireplace in the living room, and creek view on a quiet street. Vanessa was responsive and so easy to communicate with.I will definitely be recommending this cabin to my friends and family.
