Our home is located in Fancher Heights in the East Wenatchee area. Magnificently situated overlooking the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers, the
180+ degree view includes all of downtown Wenatchee, Mission Ridge (beautifully lit up in the winter months), the local iconic Saddle Rock, as well as a full view of the Cascade Mountain range. No matter what time of year it is, the view remains breathtaking as the seasons capture different “looks” of the beauty of North Central Washington.
Perfectly located, you have convenient access to all that the area offers. This includes outdoor activities on the lakes and rivers, hill and mountain activities year round, all that the Bavarian village of Leavenworth has to offer during each season, world-class outdoor concerts at the Gorge Amphitheater and more, all within 1 hour of our home!
Affectionately known as “Barnstorm”, the estate property sits on a ridge at the end of Barnstorm Lane, currently the only house on the lane. It provides plenty of elbow space that helps create a feeling of privacy and seclusion, enhancing your ability to rest and relax while enjoying the company you are with. The 5200 square foot home itself boasts many amenities.
Starting on the main floor, grand views of the rivers, valley and mountains are the first thing you will experience walking through the main entrance, providing ongoing enjoyment while you rest and connect with each other. The living room is spacious yet cozy, creating the perfect ambiance for conversation. Enhancing the experience is a beautiful floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace as a focal point. The kitchen is off the living room, making for easy conversation with each other while preparing meals. It includes everything you will need for any kind of meal preparation, including double ovens, a stove, and an island. The breakfast nook sitting area seats 6 for informal meal times, or for more formal occasions, the dining room seats 10.
The master suite on the main floor has a king bed, a large double-sink bathroom including a garden tub and walk-in shower. The third floor consists of 3 bedrooms with queen beds (with plenty of drawer space for unpacking) and a bathroom with a double sink, separated from the toilet and tub room.
The daylight basement is where entertainment really begins, with a game room including a pool table (which also converts to a ping pong table), a game table with a number of games available, and a kitchenette. Off the game room behind French doors, there is another bedroom with two twin-over-full + trundle bunk beds, as well as a theater room with a leather sectional sofa that includes reclining seats. The basement also has plenty of space for our king, twin or three toddler blow-up beds. Please ask prior to arrival if you'd like any of these blow-up mattresses set out for you.
Many options are available for enjoying the property outside as well. Whether at the sitting area for two with coffee or a glass of wine, in the air-conditioned pool house, in the seasonal heated pool (typically available April - October), grilling on either of the two Traeger grills, sitting around the granite-topped fire table (seats 12), enjoying the hot tub while taking in the view, or roasting marshmallows at the flagstone fire pit area, you will find yourself letting go of the day-to-day stresses of life. You can also take what we’ve come to call “the wine walk”, enjoying the beauty of the lush gardens throughout the property, again with the backdrop of the magnificent vista that will continually demand your attention.
A property unlike any other, your time at Barnstorm and the Wenatchee Valley area will be one of your most enjoyably-remembered getaways. We look forward to providing the experience for you!

Please note that there is no parking in the garage as one bay is for personal storage and the other bay has the sauna and exercise equipment.
