A Delightful 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom City Apartment in Picturesque Location

This lovely, bright and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is in a private development located in the West End of the city centre. It is just a 10-15 minute walk to Princes Street and less than a 15 minute walk to Haymarket train station. The location otherwise is beautiful and tranquil being next to the Water of Leith walkway with the picturesque Dean Village being a stone’s throw away while the Galleries of Modern Art are a 5 minute walk away.
The property is on the second floor and it benefits from lift/elevator access. The accommodation comprises; entrance hall, 2 double bedrooms, master bedroom with en suite shower room and the second bedroom which has a king size bed. We can also provide you with an additional guest bed if required. There is a main bathroom and the living room has a comfortable L-shaped sofa with Smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and electric oven, 4 ring stove and microwave.

bon séjour

logement conforme au descriptif. la récupération des clefs se fait sans problème. Même si on peut correspondre par écrit, dommage qu'on ne puisse rencontrer le propriétaire pour avoir des renseignements complémentaires pour la gestion du logement situation géographique idéale pour visiter Edimbourg

Très bel appartement

Très bel appartement, dans un quartier très calme à 20 minutes à pied de Princes Street, centre d’Edimbourg où se conjuguent le passé (chateau tout près, musées ...) et le présent (boutiques, restaurants ...). Juste à côté de l’apparrelent, vous trouverez Dean Village, joli village dans la ville, petit poumon boisé. Pour les personnes arrivant par avion, vous pouvez prendre le bus 100 et descendre à Haymarket, à 20 minutes à pied de l’appartement. Cuisine totalement équipée, séjour confortable, une grande chambre et une autre plus petite mais bien agencée. Cette dernière a sa salle d’eau privative et c’est un plus. Juste un peu de manque de pression dans la salle de bain donnant sur le couloir mais rien de rédhibitoire. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Merci à François !

Très agréable séjour à Edimbourg

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour à Édimbourg. L'appartement est spacieux, il est vraiment adapté à une famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants). Fonctionnel et calme, il est conforme à la description et a répondu à nos attentes. De plus, il est très bien localisé dans un quartier typé (Dean village). Nous avons pu faire l'essentiel de nos visites à pied. L'accueil de François est chaleureux. A notre écoute, il a su nous conseiller. On recommande cette location !

Comfortable apartment in ideal location

The flat is located a short walk from the city centre, with easy access to shopping. Calm area, little traffic. The host was friendly and outgoing. We were altogether very satisfied.

Francois, the property manager was very friendly and available. Cleanliness in bath room was excellent but in the kitchen there were some dirty objects (mugs, spoons ...). Anyway we enjoyed our stay in the well located apartment.

Abbiamo faticato all'inizio nel trovare la casa ma abbiamo trovato una persona gentile che ci ha aiutato. La casa è spaziosa, luminosa e ben attrezzata e pulita. Unico neo :le lenzuola del letto matrimoniale della camera vicina al soggiorno erano troppo strette rispetto al meterasso pertanto si è dormito con le lenzuola attorcigliate (non comodo).

Our Edinburgh trip

Nice apartment in a very private and quite cul-de-sac. In the 17 days we stayed there we came across just a few neighbours. Even though we never met Francois, the apartment manager/owner, he supplied us with all the check-in instructions and was very helpful when we needed information about the apartment or the city. The apartment itself is quite big with two large bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen had all the amenities you needed if you wanted to relax and make a meal at home plus the washer with drier was very much welcomed. The only negative: all windows in the flat could not be opened for some fresh air. We did not mind too much since we were most of the time out and about and in June the weather it's not so hot and in the flat it was quite cosy. I was wondering though how it would have been inside had it been July or August and we could not open the windows. Overall a great stay in a wonderful location and in walking distance to the Castle, shopping, ect ect. P:S. Do not miss visiting the Royal Palace.

Very comfortable and convenient apartment. The owners actually had some condiments. As we know, some don’t even have salt and pepper. These owners had much more than that which was greatly appreciated. The apartment was very clean within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants with good beds and sectional sofa. It is equipped as they advertise and very quiet.

Well-appointed and charming centrally-located flat.

We had a great stay in Francois’ flat. The location is excellent, with an easy walk to the royal mile, museums, food, shopping, and the rest. Amenities are excellent and has a dishwasher, and unexpected treat.

Goed, ruim en gunstig gesitueerd appartement

Ruim appartement, voorzien van alle gemakken! Inrichting voelt wat doorleefd aan, maar voor een week ruim voldoende. In plm. 20 min. lopen in Princesstreet, Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle en Scottish museum. Heel goed gelegen in mooie buurt. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Duidelijke informatie over Edinburgh samengesteld. Nieuw Nespresso apparaat; voor koffieliefhebbers een extra bonus. Nespresso cups te verkrijgen op loopafstand. Dit appartement is zeker een aanrader. We hebben mede hierdoor, enorm genoten van ons verblijf in Edinburgh.

GREAT

The location and flat were perfect for our needs. An easy, pleasant 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and another 5 to Princes Street. To the castle from the apartment maybe 30 minutes quite easy and very nice passing all the things you want to remember to check out on your way back. The apartment was plenty of room for the 6 of us with two bathrooms. Comfortable decor, not very large over all but if most of the time you're out and about, it's perfect and the towels are WONDERFUL. Two of the stove burners didn't work and the dishwasher racks are a bit rickity, small fridge (no freezer?) and could use a clothes hanging rack. Other than that, all worked well and fine. Francois is helpful and responds very quickly to questions via email. I recommend this place.

Comfortable, clean flat in a good location offering quiet nights but easy access to the sights

Comfortable, well proportioned flat. There was plenty of room for four adults and two toddlers to spend a weekend together. The location was great too - easy walking distance to most of things and very quiet at night. The main bathroom and kitchen are perhaps a bit dated but everything was very clean and serviceable. The kitchen in particular was well equipped with plenty of bowls, plates, cups etc and having a dishwasher was a big plus for us.

Good option.

It is a good place to stay in Edimburg. It is very easy to reach the city center or go out of it. Francois was very attentive and friendly helping us in all that we needed. The flat is not new but, in summary, it is a good option.

Una buena localización para visitar lo lugares emblemáticos.

Francois fue muy amable y tuvo excelente comunicación con nosotros. Tuvimos una entrada atrasada por circunstancias de Hospital y siempre fue muy comprensivo. El lugar es sencillo , es cómodo y ofrece la ventaja de dos baños. Pudiera mejorarse tener algunos básicos de cocina, como café para los huéspedes. Pudimos tener una excelente estancia y disfrutar la hermosa ciudad.

All we needed and great location

We stayed for a week in Francois apartment. The rooms are huge, at least one of them where we stayed with our twins children. Also there are two toilets which is very good.The kitchen has everything you need and the only negative thing that I will mention is that the kitchen extractor fan needs to be changed or at least clean it seriously. The area is one of my favourites in Edinburgh, along the Dean river. Very peaceful. Great Stay in general.

Beautiful, quiet, well-kept apartment

We very much enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Several reviews had mentioned problems with the blinds or plumbing; we found everything to be in perfect working order. The kitchen was convenient and well-stocked (mugs, wine glasses, anything we needed). The shower worked great and the bathtub was large and comfortable. Beds were fine to sleep on, and after a week in London, we really appreciated the quiet. For folks who can walk well, it's a quick walk up the street to many convenient bus stops. Some extra information for guests with mobility challenges: this property was listed as suitable for guests in wheelchairs. If you use a folding/collapsable wheelchair while out and about but are mobile in the home and able to climb a tall stair or climb in and out of a bathtub, this is a great apartment for you. It has an elevator to get from the ground floor to the second floor apartment. However, there is a curb-height stair into the building (which also has a door threshold on it, so in practice it's difficult to ascend in a manual wheelchair). Also, the doors inside the apartment are too narrow to accommodate a standard manual wheelchair. We needed to remove the wheels from my (rigid frame/non-folding) wheelchair to get it through the wider exterior door, and it did not fit through any interior doorways in the apartment. There are no grab bars in the bathrooms, and the shower requires about a 1 foot (30 cm) step to get in or out. Because I was traveling with adult family members, we were able to manage and enjoy the lovely apartment, but if I were on my own or only with my children, we would not have been able to stay. Also, the apartment is down a fairly steep, cobblestone hill. No problem if you can walk well, but challenging to ascend or descend in a manual wheelchair. We took a lot of taxis, so we were fine, but if you planned to make much use of the bus system, this is not a good choice for a wheelchair user.

Confortevole e funzionale

Alloggio confortevole, situato in una zona silenziosa e a pochi passi da un delizioso villaggio. Bus a circa 7 min. a piedi che collegano verso diverse destinazioni, Supermarket e negozi a circa 10-15 minuti a piedi, 30 minuti a piedi circa per raggiungere il Castello e la Royal Mile. Proprietario cordiale!

Great location. Quiet area.

The area was very quiet. The river was right across a small street and made for several wonderful walks, birds, water, people. Was a short walk to restaurants and other things. 30 minute walk to castle and Royal Mile. Only minor negative, is its time to update a few things in the apartment, blinds that don't work and so on. But Francisco was very nice and helpful. Place was clean and had all the things need for a great stay.
