Great Location - Great Deck

The location is fantastic. The view, deck and rocking chairs made the visit. The home is a little long in the tooth and in need of significant upgrades. Lose handrails made it difficult for my elderly parents to walk up the stairs. The shower heads barely pushed any water out of them. Kitchen was well equipped and worked well. Beds were comfortable and sheets were soft. Our biggest overall concern was the vents from the AC system seemed to have black mold growing around the edges. It should probably get looked at.

Beach Vacation

The house is a few steps from the beach. The back porch had plenty of room and plenty of rocking chairs. We all enjoyed sitting on the back porch enjoying the beautiful sunrise and sunsets. If it rains, you can still sit on the back porch and watch the ocean. Dolphins came by every morning and afternoon. Shopping and restaurants are within a couple of miles. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils.

Quite nice weekend

The only negative was the “processing fee” which was greater than the rent due. Not afraid to pay what the full asking price is, just wont use Vacasa again due to the shade.

Wonderful location - but the house needs a bit of work

This place has breathtaking views, it was gorgeous to sit out on the porch and watch the sunrise/sunset over the ocean. The beach was in great condition and the kids loved searching for jellyfish and crabs. The house is a little outdated, and was dirty in quite a few places, especially around heaters, windows, and such. The house also is a little warped from the years of sitting on posts, which was noticeable when walking around. A good deep cleaning and some paint, along with the replacements of aging light fixtures would breathe life back into this place! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!

Just what we needed

First time in Edisto Island and it was wonderful. Sea Plus was a great fit for our little family—both for convenience and ocean view. The back deck was our favorite part. We will definitely be back.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was well stocked with kitchen items and linens. The back porch is amazing and was our favorite part of the house. Would highly recommend!

Perfect Beach house that produced RELAXATION

Great house situated right on the beach, made our life so easy with three little ones. We were able to walk right out on the beach each morning, have coffee on the porch in the morning while watching dolphins and shrimp boats. Very pleased with the house and accomodations.

Nice Vacation Home

Overall, our vacation was good at this home. We went midway through the Coronavirus pandemic. A lot of places were closed down, but being on the ocean made up for it. The house is directly on the beach. There is a lot of restaurants around to choose from. We had to order pickup so we didn’t get to experience the locations. They looked very nice. The deck directly above the sand was amazing! The house is large. There were two downsides to the vacation. 1. The cleanliness of the house. The windows to the ocean-view were dirty and smudged so much that we couldn’t see outside clearly to view the ocean. The bathrooms were very run down, with a little mold on the wall in one of the bathrooms. The floors in the bathroom could easily be replaced to make the bathrooms more clean. The shower head and control to turn on and off were old and need replaced. There were spiders in the rooms when we took off the blanket on the bed. They were small and we simply washed the blankets again. The floors weren’t adequately cleaned. The couches were old and dusty looking. We informed the property manager and they thanked us for letting them know. All of this can be addressed and fixed for future stays. The kitchen was very clean, which was a positive! It wasn’t unbearable, but definitely needs to be worked on. The other issue was that we had no wifi during our stay, except for the first day. Due to COVID19, ATT wasn’t able to get someone out to address the issue until after our stay. It was difficult because I work remotely. I had to purchase a hotspot to work. The situation was understandable due to COVID19. Overall, the property managers were helpful. I would recommend as long as they fixed up bathrooms and had the cleaners do a better, more job depth clean!

Clean and comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this house again. It has everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. We give it two thumbs up! PS The blinds need to be replaced in some of the rooms-they no longer open or close properly.
