Rooms were clean and very nice, decent breakfast, excellent location for access to U of A hospital, plenty of dining and shopping options close by, we stayed 2 nights.
Unfortunately, the 1st night we were serenaded by a street musician, singing and playing loud music on a Tues night until 11:40pm. The Metterra provides "Whyte Noise" earplugs, which I thought were a novelty item, but nope used them, and they were not enough, fell asleep with my head between two pillows "those aren't pillows!". Second night was fine, other than the regular street noise and sirens.
Also, the beds have a large wooden platform which sticks out beyond rhe mattress, and it is a real shin buster in the dark.
We used the valet parking, which is needed with the limited parking. I had requested our car at 9 am the night previous (when checking in). I asked about it at 8:55, the request had not been scheduled so it was a scramble to get the car out. The next morning the car was out on time.
I would probably not stay again unless I could be guaranteed a room away from the street.
