This farmhouse was perfect for our stay in San Diego for a wedding! Easy to drive in and out of the city. James and Zdenka were so welcoming with a goody basket. The place was clean, very comfortable, and stocked with anything we would need.

We absolutely loved this farmhouse! It was easy communicating with the host. The home was spotless, and had every single amenity possible. From the welcoming sign and birthday cupcakes to the goodie basket, wine, and chocolate, everything was perfect. The kitchen was fully loaded with every utensil, pot, pan, and plate imaginable. We were looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation, and we certainly got it here. This was the best Vrbo we've stayed in. The views were gorgeous from the patio. Not one complaint about this home. Thank you so much to the hosts James and Zdenka. We will be back!

Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover—This Place Is a Hidden Gem!

My husband was a little hesitant at first because of the cover photo—don’t be! This place is absolutely amazing.From the very beginning, James and Z were incredibly responsive and welcoming. The drive up to the home was beautiful, but the views surrounding the property were truly breathtaking. We spent every morning and evening enjoying the outdoor seating—it made for some unforgettable moments.Inside, the home has such a warm and inviting feel. James and Z have added so many thoughtful, personal touches that you just don’t find in other places. They even provided essentials for the first night, which took the stress out of having to run to the store right away. It was the perfect balance—well-stocked, but not overly lived-in.They truly thought of everything. Thank you for sharing your home with us—we can’t wait to come back!

Great visit

It was an amazing little cabin. The house are great as well. No issues no concerns. If I come back to San Diego, I will check here to see if this is available every time. Way better than any hotel and any other Verbo I’ve been at.

The farmhouse was cozy, clean, and felt like a home away from home. The owners were super nice giving us a box of chocolates, other snacks, and wine. The house came with full kitchen amenities and overall the area surrounding the farmhouse was beautiful and quiet.

Amazing beautiful

The cottage was very cozy and the setting is amazing beautiful. One feels right at home. The kitchen is week supplied. The house is nice and warm. The wildlife can be seen and heard everywhere. In the evening the silence is golden.

Es war ein wunderschöner Abschluss unseres 3,5 wöchigen Roadtrips. Eine perfekte Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Umgebung mit allem, was man braucht. Das HĂ€uschen ist ein Juwel und einzigartig. Der Gastgeber hat bei der Einrichtung an alles gedacht und der Blick vom Balkon in die Natur ist wunderschön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl in den 3 Tagen gefĂŒhlt.

Great little hideaway

We did a weekend getaway for our 26th wedding anniversary. We wanted something quiet, secluded and comfortable. This checked all the boxes! It was immaculate, beautifully decorated and remodeled. The hosts went above and beyond with their personal touches for our anniversary! I really want to thank them for making our stay so special. We enjoyed the 2 lakes in the area, and found a few fun places to eat. We didn't really use the kitchen or living room area, but the bed was quite comfortable and the upstairs had great views. Overall, I would rate the experience 10/10 except for 1 thing. The shower is incredibly small (like rv, half-sized). I'm 5'6" and 133lbs and found it incredibly cramped and kept bumping the shower walls, so you can imagine my 6'2" 265 lb. husband - he hit elbow to elbow and couldn't bend. It's just something to keep in mind.

Peaceful Retreat

The pictures don't do this listing justice. Everything was perfect and all details were thought of. We enjoyed keeping the A/C off and the windows open day and night - there is no noise pollution. We saw lots of little bunnies on our daily drive up to the house. Our kids enjoyed the cornhole game out back! Highly recommend.

The little extras make this a jewel

We have stayed at lots of spots, it was the extras that put this place in our top 10%. Things like a beautiful welcome package, a real corkscrew, welcoming messages, some essentials in the cupboard, and lots of pillows! Beautiful Escape from the City

The pictures of the view from this property do not do it justice. We appreciated the distance from the city without being too far away. It gave us an escape to retreat to. Perfect amount of space for two adults and a 1yr old. Hosts were communicative if needed and everything was clean and well taken care of. They very much take pride in their farmhouse. Will definitely be back next time we're visiting!
