Just outside the pretty pueblo blanco of El Gastor, a series of country lanes wind their way through picturesque countryside of gently undulating hills and meadows of silvery grey olive groves. Down below, the lake of Zahara shimmers invitingly and creates a breathtakingly beautiful scene, with the imposing mountains of the Grazalema National Park and the charming hilltop village of Zahara de la Sierra rising up behind it.
This is the enviable setting that is enjoyed by Llanama. Just off a rural lane, surrounded by fields of olive groves and commanding fine views out towards the lake, this is an idyllic spot. Within spacious grounds, pretty stone flowerbeds are stocked with colourful plants, olive trees cast welcome areas of shade and an attractive swimming pool sits within a smart wide patio with barbecue and covered terrace conveniently located alongside.

Inside, the accommodation is equally appealing, displaying soft tones of orange and gold that blend successfully with chestnut wood beams, thick wooden doors and areas of exposed stone to create a space that is warm and inviting. The provision of air conditioning and heating throughout adds further to the sense of comfort.

Whilst many hours will no doubt be spent at the house enjoying the pretty grounds and picturesque views, guests at Llanama are perfectly positioned to explore this pretty part of Andalucía. Just 5 minutes away by car, the charming local village of El Gastor provides all amenities and some excellent restaurants, whilst also within easy reach are some of the region's unmissable gems: Ronda (35 minutes), Grazalema (15 minutes) and Sevilla (1 hour).

*As this is a protected area of natural beauty, barbecue bans will be enforced from early June and an electric 'plancha' will be provided for outdoor catering. Internet provision is via a satellite connection.
