This splendid retreat is only steps away from Mesa Trail access and within a short drive of restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, and great attractions, including Millicent Rogers Museum, Ktaos Solar Center, Taos Art Museum At Fechin House, Kit Carson Park, Downtown Taos Historic District, Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort, Angel Fire Resort, and Red River Ski & Summer Area. On the subject of skiing, local skiing options are nearby for those who aren't up to going to a resort to explore the slopes.

The fully enclosed yard is a wonderful private oasis where you will find a bubbly hot tub, beautiful mountain views, an outdoor dining area, and a gas grill - this is the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors while still being at home! Upon entering this fabulous home away from home, you will discover a beautifully appointed interior with a classic New Mexico design. The welcoming living area invites you to spread out comfortably and stream entertaining movies and shows on the smart TV - there is a cozy seating area by the fireplace where you can snuggle up and create everlasting memories with your loved ones. Adjacent to the living area is the well-appointed kitchen, complete with all the essentials. The home also enjoys a welcoming sunroom that opens to the backyard. There are two main bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. One of the bathrooms features a claw foot tub and a stacked washer/dryer.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

He's a very cozy house, not too far from town, with amazing views of the mountains. My family and I had a great time. We loved cooking in the kitchen and spending time together out on the patio.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was more perfect than I imagined. So quiet and plenty of space between homes. Very clean and communication was very responsive and clear, even at late hours. The only thing we missed was dishwashing sponges and cleaning supplies

Great house but issues with property management

The house is great and has many strengths (a lot space, separated bedrooms, comfortable living room, equipped kitchen, hot tub, short drive to Taos). The main issue is with the property management company Vacasa. Unfortunately we were locked out (door code stopped working) and when we called for help it took over an hour to get inside. The back up code they gave us did not work and we ultimately had to get in through a key in a lock box.The next night the power in part of the house, including the WiFi, went out and was never restored. We contacted Vacasa multiple times and they repeatedly said the local host would respond and help. No local host ever responded or came to help. We were without the power in part of the house and without the WiFi until we checked out. It was not a simple reset situation as there was no accessible breaker box. It was frustrating to not have someone locally to help fix the issue.

Big space for family close to Taos

A little bit of a drive into town, but there was a lot of space for everyone to be together, but relax in their own corners as well. Family friendly and stocked with things for young kids like books and toys. Nice hot tub.

Great Stay

We loved our stay. The 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom set up is great for couples/friends on an trip and I’m sure for families. Lots of board games that we enjoyed and lots of space and areas to spend time together. We would definitely book again (and hopefully use the hot tub this time)!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay overall. The house is very spacious with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths plus large living areas. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook and eat a large Thanksgiving meal there. The enclosed back yard is perfect for pets and for outdoor lounging in warmer weather and we made use of the hot tub. Excellent, would stay there again!

Comfortable Serene Setting

Perfect layout for 2 couples & 2 dogs. The 2 main suites are separated by the living area & spacious kitchen which was well equipped for in house meals. We loved the backyard/patio which is accessible from the living area as well as the 2 main suites It feels very secluded with the stucco walls, alcoves and rustic post fencing. The terrain & landscape all work to provide a sense of peaceful isolation even though you are only a few minutes from downtown!

Great, clean home

We loved this house. It was perfect for our group. The kitchen is fairly well stocked but the toaster didn't toast for some reason. The coffee situation was designed for one coffee drinker. There is a Keurig and a tiny Mr. Coffee. For the size of the house, a full sized coffee maker is needed. The house was super clean but the cover on the intake for the hot tub needed to be cleaned. It had stuff collected on it that would come off when the jets weren't running and be floating in the water. We weren't impressed by the local management. They didn't follow through. We had a plugged toilet and got a message that they were sending someone out but when we returned the toilet was still plugged. I made it clear that they could come in regardless of whether or not we were there. The toilet was still plugged when we left 3 days later. The local management was super accommodating when we screwed up the check out date which was great and we appreciated it. But they didn't process our payment so we returned to the house and couldn't get it. It was freezing and we were tired and starving. Overall fantastic home.

A taste Taos

We loved this sweet authentic Adobe home! It was perfect for our little group. My 3 yr old granddaughter loved the toys !!!! Our dog was thrilled with the lovely fenced in yard! We were 5 minutes from town and close to two ski areas. The view from the house is breathtaking. The kitchen is well equipped. The only suggestions are for a bigger coffee maker and a better toaster and newer dish washer. The beds were super comfortable, plenty of nice linens, nice hot showers, and a fun hot tub! Taos is a great place to visit. Great hiking, great skiing, and great restaurants! It was a perfect week ! Thank you so much!!!!!!
