We got a big room at Elkotel for our family of 5, 2 full beds 1 full-size sofabed. Good size room for a short stay, it has a desk in case somebody needs to work. Only problem was the bedroom door being really difficult to close. There was breakfast in the morning which was yummy and convenient but not enough healthy/ protein options and the water for coffee/tea/oatmeal, which came from a water cooler with a hot button, was lukewarm at best.

Close to freeway easy to get to. Property had recent maintenance. Unfortnatly many areas had blue tape and dried paint spots on the floor in the bathroom area.

The desk clerk was very nice. The lobby is beautiful but tricks you into thinking the rooms are as nice as the lobby. The hotel boasts that it is the newest in Elko. The room walls had patched holes that weren't painted over, torn headboard, dirty walls and the bathroom had human and dog hair on the floor. The bathroom walls had some splatter marks that were grossly unidentifiable. The tv didn't work when we came in, the clerk had ro come in and reset it. The hotel worked for a place to sleep while traveling but i wouldn't stay again.

Excellent service and staff. Super nice, updated, clean room. Beyond that leaves a lot to be desired. They are working hard to fix issues, but there were many issues. WiFi bad, hot water for your shower is not guaranteed either.

The rooms were updated and stylish which was nice but the bed was not very comfortable and there were only three tiny, flat pillows for a king size bed. The night staff was condescending and we never saw any staff in the morning, even after waiting some time to check out. For breakfast, there was literally nothing. Everything was either already gone or broken so we ended up having to go down the street. Mind you this was at 8 in the morning. Also, be aware that this property is extremely "dog friendly". It is so dog friendly that, per staff, every room has had dogs in it so if you have any allergies stay somewhere else. It's not like most hotels that have some pet designated rooms/areas.

Recently updated and has a newer feel to it. Hot breakfast was nice, parking and highway access was easy. I got the room at the end of the hall by the ice machine, was super noisy but otherwise nice. Employees we're super friendly and helpful.
