Prima hotel voor een nacht. Kamer schoon maar gedateerd maar daar waren we op voorbereid door de andere recensies. Het heeft wel een update nodig. Ontbijtbuffet prima voor de prijs/ kwaliteit. Alles was vers en werd bijgevuld. Hotel was stil in de nacht wel gehorig maar andere gasten kunnen ook gewoon de deur dichtdoen in plaats van smijten : ) daar kan het hotel niets aan doen.

Eerdere reviews hadden het al omschreven; gedateerd ingericht en wat achterstallig onderhoud, maar wel relatief schoon (om even de vloerbedekking achterwegen te laten, die er gewoon uitgehaald moet worden). Hotelpersoneel mag wel iets behulpzamer zijn; bij het weggaan was een oudere dame van de laatste trede van de trap gevallen, maar de medewerker achter de balie had niet de moeite genomen om mevrouw te helpen en voorzien van EHBO materiaal zoals bijvoorbeeld een ice-pack voor op de enkel van mevrouw. Misschien iets bekwamer en gecertificeerd personeel inzetten?

Het ontbijt was redelijk (wel erg bittere koffie van merk Cafe Intencion) en sommige fruitstukken waren beurs. De nabije omgeving is mooi (Veluwe) helaas is de accomodatie even schakelen. Waar zal ik beginnen: - Je slaapt in een aangebouwde vleugel en niet in het hogere gebouw op de foto - kamers zijn zeer krap, verouderd en muf. - veel lawaai vanuit kamers naast, boven ons en op de gang. Je wordt hier vroeg wakker of neem oordopjes mee. - doorgezakte bedden/matrassen en geen steun voor je rug om in bed tv te kijken zoals bij een boxspring. - wij hadden veel stof in de kamer. Dikke laag op de bovenkant/plank van het bed - een groot gat in één van de dunne badhanddoeken. - wastafel is gescheiden van de badkamer en is naast je bed. -onsympathiek personeelslid achter de balie: bij inchecken al het gevoel dat de beste man hier met tegenzin werkt en bij uitchecken werd niet eens gevraagd of het verblijf aangenaam was - alleen factuur geven, pinnen en "dag". Conclusie: Niet aan te raden en voor ons geen 2e keer!

Het hotel ligt heerlijk in de bossen. Genieten als je van buiten houdt. De kamer was gedateerd, de tijd had stil gestaan en de verlichting op de kamer was karig. Te weinig licht. Ook de wasbak op de kamer ipv in de badkamer was een rare gewaarwording. Niet echt handig in gebruik als je zoon bij de wasbak ligt te slapen.
