The view was breathtaking!! The room needed to be repaired gouges in the wall. Black mold in the bathroom. Air conditioner rattled. Overall just run down. Needs a makeover.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the inside of the property was great, there were areas around the property that could use some cleaning. The breakfast was okay, could use a little more variety. The wifi was horrible, we couldnt connect long enough

I do not recommend, sad to say.

It was not so good. Pictures must be extremely old. Smoke free building but everything including the pillows smelled of cigarette and cannabis. The carpet was so dirty that our feet stuck to the bathroom floor and made our feet dirty. Had to have maid service give us a can of fabreeze. The best part was the view of the bay. We spent as much time away as we could, and only slept there. Had a spider crawl on me whilst laying down reading.

It was an easy check in and the room itself was clean, but you can tell the furniture is very worn. The bed and pillows were super uncomfortable. This hotel also has NO elevator so if youre handicapped call ahead and make sure you can get a bottom floor. I did not, so thats on me. But the stairs are really difficult for someone with mobility issues. I didnt have the breakfast, it was 3 hours from 6-9 so we missed it. The view from the beach was incredible. I'd stay again just for that

There was dirt all all around the bed. The gym is not even functional, multiple machines were broken. The door to the room would not shut, it had to be pulled shut. There were wooden blocks in the window to keep them locked. The beach was not an actual beach. There was no where to actually fish unless you went out into the water, which was very dirty in front of the hotel.

We checked in and when we went into the room, it smelled like dog. We did not bring a pet, nor did we request a pet-friendly room. We had to agree that we would NOT have pets in the room. We tried turning the A/C on high and opening the window, but it didn't help with the smell. Because we were in the room longer than 15 minutes, we could not get a refund. We left anyway, it was not acceptable. If you have dogs and don't mind the smell, you probably will find it acceptable. We could not.

Our room was very clean and king size bed comfortable. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I've been in for awhile. However, the man that checked us in was not very plesant or welcoming. He also Over Charged us for our 2 dogs. We reserved a dog friendly room and it should have been 20 each or 40.00. He charged us 60.00 or 30 each because he put us in non pet room. That was not our fault and when I questioned he more or less said "too bad" that's only room he had available. I also asked about adding our choice member # and he said he couldnt do that either. He clearly doesnt belong in customer service!!

Went to check out the breakfast. Was not impressed. Been to many hotels that have hot breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage & potatoes. Waffle maker and many other breakfast items. Coffee wasn't even good. Ended up going to a Family restaurant down the road.

We had a lovely, large room overlooking Lake Michigan. What a beautiful view to wake up to! The room was spacious, comfortable and sparkling clean. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the beds were very comfortable. Even the rollaway we requested was comfortable! All members of staff that we encountered were friendly and welcoming, which is half the battle! I'm a former hotel inspector and as such tend to be very picky. I absolutely give this property two thumbs up, and we will definitely be back next time we come to Menominee!
