Just a place to stay
A basic older property, could use some maintenance and upgrade. Was able to get my room changed to a ground floor. Expect the back units would have had a nice view of the wooded area behind the motel. Bed could have been more comfortable.

People at the front desk who checked us in were very friendly and gave a great recommendation for a restaurant. We stayed in a hot tub room down below. Upstairs seems like an old-school funky Roadside Motel. However, downstairs it’s very similar to a state park lodge. we will be back!

There were cockroaches in the room! It was disgusting! We had to go next door to the Dollar General and buy blankets and roach spray. No way were we going to crawl under their covers! Unfortunately, everywhere else was sold out due to craft shows for the weekend or we would have gone somewhere else. Save your money and go anywhere else!
