Upon my arrival at Quality Inn and Suites, Everett, I was hesitant to even get out of my car. There was a large crowd of men outside the hotel. As i stepped out of my car, the cat calls began. Two men approached me and asked me how much. I ignored them. I saw a small group smoking out of glass pipes and just beyond were two women soliciting. I got back into my car and moved to a different parking area. Got into the hotel. Checked in. No problems. As i entered the elevator, there was a huge puddle of wetness on the floor and a very bad stench of urine. Went to my room. Room was located immediately beside the elevator and on the other side of the room were vending machines. Swiped my card key and stepped in. Room reeked of urine. I turned and left the room. Took the stairs down to the lobby. I handed back my card key to the clerk and told him I could not stay at this hotel and that it wasn't safe and the facilities were unacceptable. Took me hours to find an available room. On a good note, booking with Travelosity was fast and efficient as always. I have been booking with Travelosity for years. Thank you for making most of my trips easy and without fail.

The location of the hotel was close to our family.

Pros: The suite was nice. The bathroom was the nicest we visited on this trip.
Cons: Perhaps you should consider filters on the air conditioner? There should be some solution for the smell! Noise was also a problem- ??
Location: We traveled to see family. We particularly enjoyed the Northwest Railway Museum. It included a train ride!! The kids loved it!
But there's lots of construction going on near by. You have to exit only to the right- go across the freeway-and make a U-turn to head in the direction we needed to go- it wasn't convenient. The construction was noisy- lasting into the evening. The parking lot was torn up- and just heavy gravel in spots. Sunday night the streets were so jammed it took us over 30 minutes to get from the other side of the freeway to the hotel!? The room had a smell- they determined was from the construction. They offered another room- but it only had one TV- and was further away. We stayed- and they used an air freshener that seemed to help. But the problem came back the next day!?

The hotel was ok for the price.

The hotel is older and a bit run down, but we had a suite that was spacious and clean but aged. It smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room, as did the dark halls. It had everything I needed, a decent breakfast and small workout room. I would have been happier if there were disinfecting wipes available for the equipment, but the machines were useable. I kept the windows open to get rid of the smell even though it was freezing outside and the bed was comfortable so I did enjoy my stay.

convenient location off of freeway

Pros: close to freeway and shopping stores
Cons: nothing off hand
Location: Irish restaurant and bar across the street plenty of shopping stores within walking
had a comfortable plenty of rest two day stay. I was able to see friends and get food from local stores

Quality Inn lacking any signs of quality

Pros: Convenience to I-5 is the only good thing.
Cons: Cleanliness has miles to go for improvement.
Location: I went to Albertson's just up the street--homeless out front, security guards inside, display alarm screeching. I left and when somewhere else.
The staff was friendly but the facility really needs attention. The lobby had an unpleasant smell. There were kids playing in the lobby--they were obviously the kids of counter staff. Kids are just kids but the lobby simply isn't a playground. The room smelled worse than the lobby. The bathroom was barely cleaned. Something bit me several times in the night. I'm not sure if there were fleas or bed bugs in the room. I went for ice and there was a friendly sign saying that for my 'convenience', there were ice machines on floors 1 and 3. It was less than convenient since I was on the second floor. I'm very forgiving in most cases and can overlook shortcomings but I will not stay at this hotel again.
