The house is located in the South Funen Archipelago in a beautiful natural area with, among other things, Svanninge Bakker (The Funen Alps), extensive stretches of forest and several castles and manor houses, such as Holstenhuus, Steensgård, Hvidkilde and Brahetrollesborg. It is about 3 km to Fåborg, an attractive old town with a harbor, numerous beautiful buildings, church tower, church as well as a town history museum. The surrounding area offers a variety of sights, such as the Strandlyst flower garden, Egeskov Castle, the round church in Horne and a mausoleum. The passionate sports fisherman will find good cod waters here or can take a deep-sea cutter out to the best fishing spots.
