The port area, which is only 300 m away, offers many views, including some imposing sailing ships. The dykes are great for cycling or walking to the nearest lighthouse. The historic mill, which can be viewed during opening hours, is also just a few minutes' walk away. The water in Lemkenhafen has a shallow entrance. This makes it perfect for kiting, surfing or stand-up paddling and with a fantastic view of the Fehmarnsund Bridge. Those who like to eat fish dishes should definitely visit the Aalkate or the Samoa.
