Fennville has several nice parks and a cute downtown with award winning restaurants. It also is the perfect location to start a winery or brewery tour. Fennville is home to 3 wineries and 2 breweries. Also multiple orchards and fruit farms where you can pick your own or enjoy fresh produce that has been picked for you.
The Cabin is located between Saugatuck and South Haven which both offer many fun attractions as well as additional wineries and breweries if you are touring.
This was our 2nd time staying here. The cabin is rustic but it is clean and had the basics we needed for a weekend getaway. It did the trick in helping us unwind from the hubbub of life and get back to experiencing the simple things in life. There was a nice breeze off the lake while we were there so we had the windows open and were quite comfortable. The cabin is right next to the boat launch so every now and then thereâs the typical boat traffic going in/out of the lake but it didnât intrude on our stay. Highlight of the trip was taking one of the kayaks out on the lake to watch the sunset. The cabin is relatively close to Saugatuck and other attractions. We made several trips into Saugatuck for some evenings out on the town. Overall, it was just what we needed. Would definitely stay here a 3rd time.
Great little place. We had to buy a lighter. Grill wouldnt ignite. No junk drawer with handy stuff like a lighter. No spices. Salt and pepper to be specific. Had some yellow jackets, due to very rustic windows/doors. Loved the two box fans.
I was looking for a place to stay that would allow me to just relax while enjoying a lake view, and this property did just that. The cabin is simple but has all the basics you need for a relaxing getaway.
Weather was perfect, view was perfect, no bugs except the last night stay was swarmed by mosquitos in the cabin. Wish the beds were more comfortable too. But, it is a rustic cabin as advertised and we spent so much time outside enjoying the weather and boats and kayaking and fire pit, it was a small price to pay. Made good memories!
