Summary:
With a really modern and light contemporary feel, Flora Dora is a great choice for a group of friends or families. With the ninth pullout bed as a great bonus!

Just a five minute walk from the town centre and the beach, this is a great location if you want to be close to everything you need. Truly everything you will ever need for your stay, and more.

The Space:
The accommodation features a variety of comfortable sleeping arrangements, including a spacious downstairs king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a Smart TV. There’s also a twin bedroom equipped with two single beds and an optional trundle for additional guests. On the upper level, you’ll find another king bedroom that boasts a Smart TV, as well as a luxurious super king bedroom that also includes a Smart TV. The modern, well-equipped luxury bathroom offers both a bath and a walk-in shower for your convenience.

For relaxation, the lounge area is adorned with modern interiors, featuring a Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, a DVD player, Netflix access, and super comfy sofas, all centred around a welcoming , real open fire. The space is heated throughout by gas central heating, ensuring warmth and comfort during your stay.

Parking is available on the street for any duration, although it’s not guaranteed with the property. In the well-appointed kitchen, you’ll find a dining area complete with a table and six chairs, with extra chairs available to seat up to eight guests. The kitchen includes a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, American fridge freezer, microwave, and washing machine.

For convenience, there’s also a ground-floor annexe bedroom with a king-size bed, a Smart TV, and a luxury en-suite bathroom—perfect for grandparents or anyone who prefers easy access. Please note that there is a step down into the kitchen.

The location is fantastic, just a five-minute walk to both the town and the beach. This recently fully refurbished property features beautiful furnishings throughout and is equipped with special highlights like Wi-Fi and Smart TVs with Netflix. Additional amenities include an iron, a hairdryer, a high chair, and a travel cot to ensure a comfortable stay for families.

The Front door is scruffy and uninviting. There was dirt on the carpet just inside the entrance. Once inside we were met byFlying insects throughout.There was bug spray but not a good first impression.There were cobwebs in every room some were really large especially in the entrance to and the annexe. The annexe room has a stain on the carpet so does the ensuite floor near the toilet.If the cottage had been cleaned the few hours before our arrival, as we were told then Filey has some really fast Web spinning spiders.Asked about fans to cool rooms down as it was during heat wave. Non available. Ironing board was inaccessible in the cupboard under stairs.The rear access is a gate you struggle to open or close and the small outside area and back door is covered in seagull crap! Yes we were at the coast and yes you will encounter seagulls but!.Overall a really good place to stay, the location is great it is comfortably furnished and the upstairs bathroom is beautiful.Maybe the owner needs to check on the cleaning company?

Family fun in Filey

We are a party of 5 adults and 4 children, of 4 and under. BH very precious family time and this years holiday, coincided with my daughter in laws 40th so we had a special dinner party. We bought a pack of 6 wine glasses and donated them as 2 originals got cracked. We loved the house lay out and decor, particularly in sitting room and the bedrooms worked well. The kitchen table was a bit cramped with 8 chairs but we managed and the water pressure is obviously a bit of an issue as it was difficult to run the bath! Sink in ground floor bedroom would not drain and the dishwasher did not function well on the last day. All in all very comfortable, we love Flora Dora!

Extremely Comfortable House Close To The Beach and Town

Every room is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable, the house is well equipped with everything you could possibly want, the beds are the best I’ve ever experienced in a holiday home, so comfortable, and the place was spotlessly clean. A great break was had by all.
