Enjoy this secluded cabin tucked in the tall sierra pines of Fish Camp, the mountain town ideally located just a few minutes from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park.
The open living area invites you in to a cozy living room with beautiful deck views, and a stone fireplace. The vaulted ceiling opens to the upstairs hall and bedrooms. The kitchen has been updated and is fully equipped for cooking and dining at the house.
The home also has a washer and dryer.
The cabin is also near the Wawona History Center and 9-hole golf course — the only golf course in a national park.
Bass Lake is less than 15 miles away, where you can enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The Pines Village at the lake provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is also nearby, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater.
Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall.

Cozy cabin getaway
The cabin was really cute, exactly as pictured. Really close to Tenaya Lodge and the snow play area. Has everything you need for a stay in the mountains. Only suggestion would be additional eating utensils.

Simple, clean place.
This home was very simple and clean. We were 4 adult men and overall, the space worked. The pullout couch mattress and the bunk bed mattresses were quite hard. One of us ended up just putting sheets on the actual couch and sleeping there a few of the nights. The listing says sleeps 8 but there are only two bedrooms with their own beds, a top and bottom bunk bedroom, and a pull out couch mattress. I guess a 7th could fit if a small child sleeping on the love seat but 8 seems a stretch. A lot of personal items stored away with do not use tags. No extra bed linens or blankets to be found. Kitchen had the very basic of necessities. Bathrooms were perfect and clean, with plenty of fresh towels available. Laundry units were greatly appreciated and so was the general store literally a 5 minute walk down the hill. I would consider this location again if I was in the area, perhaps with no more than two other adults. Good place for a small, young family to use.

Perfect location to access Yosemite, idyllic quiet
Perfect, perfect spot at south entrance to squeeze into line, and be close to lodge tours, sugar pine railroad (fab dinner, music and laughs) and our favorite trails. My entry instructions never came to my email, even when they resent it, so we had to call the emergency line. Waited 2 hours to get entry code while waiting with groceries on the deck. It would be great if emergency response was not a voicemail. It should be explicit that sleeping 8 means that 2 are on the sofa bed. Dryer slow and even starting at 5 am, we were not able to dry all linens before checkout. Otherwise well stocked, and all was completely perfect for some fantastic family memories!

Yosemite family vacation
This house was fantastic for our week long vacation. Everyone had their own room and space to spread out. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes. Only thing I might caution anyone about is the driveway to house. Steep and not easily managed. They need to looking at getting a new set of skillets and pots. Pretty torn up form wear. This house was so much better prepared than our last rental. Very happy and comfortable cabin. Would recommend

Good rental cabin near Yosemite
We had a good stay at the rental cabin which is located at Fish camp about 30 minutes away from Yosemite or maybe more. The house was clean and had good furnishings. There was definitely a bear theme with the etched chairs in the dining room as well as the bear etched plates. One thing that I would think would need improvement would be the communication response when renting as in previous reviews, it took a while for the property management to respond when it was getting close to the time of leaving for the place. It ended up ok though as we were able to quickly sign the agreement and send it back on the same day and get access to the house. Another thing that can be improved upon is the lack of kitchen items such as salt, pepper, oven gloves/mitts, tongs, toaster oven or toaster. The nearest store would not have all these items and so it would be good to indicate that. There are no extra blankets or throws around and so you would have to bring those or bundle up. One night, my husband heard some small animals that seemed to be in the walls so could be rats and so my husband downloaded a high frequency app to keep them away and the second night, it was fine. All in all, we have a good stay.
