Summary:

The North Wales Gathering is a large, detached and exclusive use property ideal for groups of friends and family looking to get together. Boasting 9 individual ensuite bedrooms and a sofa bed giving 10 rooms, and 10 bathrooms. The property has a great open plan social dining area, and modern well equipped kitchen. Good location for easy access to Chester, Snowdonia and North Wales Coast, situated within easy access of the main A55.



The Space:

The property is split between nine en-suite double bedrooms, lounge and large sociable combined dining/kitchen with huge dining table.

Each of the 9 bedrooms has its own TV and full en-suite facilities.

The lounge features a double sofa bed so can also be converted to a 10th bedroom if required.

Most beds are normally set out as a King/Double but can be converted into singles with appropriate advance notice.



Parking is provided for at least three vehicles, up to five or six depending on availability, with an overflow public car park immediately next door.

Outside are two picnic tables and a bicycle storage space.

The property benefits from an electric vehicle charging point (you will need your own Type 2 cable) with electricity charged at cost.

The outside area and car parks have CCTV which is not actively monitored. When you make a booking with us a rental contract will be sent to you for electronic signature.

I booked this stay for my sisters hen do, the day before at 2pm I was told that this wasn’t available. This was very stressful and was given 1 option in Chester instead. This was another big property. It was very strange, there was astro-turf in the dining room and the hot tubs were inside. This house has a lot of stairs! The house was well equipped and was close to town.

With 14 members of our extended family the large square dining table made meal times very user friendly. There were enough bedrooms to allow sleeping arrangements to suit all. There was a water outage for two and a half days - we understand there should have been compensation due - mention of this has been made to the host, an acknowledgement but nothing else so far

Family Stay

Great base for exploring North Wales and Chester. Loved the kitchen area. The huge table was excellent for playing games around. Kitchen had everything we needed for 14 of us. Loved that each room had their own bathroom. Would have liked an additional towel per room. Some of the TVs didn't work but we didn't use them so it didn't make a difference to us. Mattresses were a little uncomfortable but still managed to get a decent sleep. Extra pillows would have been nice too. Excellent communication from host. Would recommend for large groups. Very close to Flint train station.

House needs some maintenance

I stayed with another nine adults we chose the house because it had lots of ensuite bedrooms.On the plan of the house it showed the lounge being on the ground floor next to the kitchen, this was great for us as one of our guys is disabled. When we arrived at the house, they’ve moved the lounge from the ground floor to the first floor, this was not acceptable. It meant one of our friends was on their own in the dining kitchen, if we had gone up to the lounge.The bedrooms only need some attention. Furniture is falling apart wardrobes and bedside cabinets need replacing the bed in the room next to the kitchen diner the springs are coming through.There should be automatic lighting on the stairs on the stairs from the first floor down to the ground floor sometimes it works sometimes it didn’t, and sometimes it came on on its own. The two fridges were in a bad condition so give the owner they’re due. I reported this and they did bring us one new fridge on day two of our holiday. But of course for 10 individual people one fridge really wasn’t big enough, the freezer really does need replacing in my opinion it probably hasn’t been cleaned for quite awhile.The carpets in the house bedrooms need cleaning or replacing. I was in room five and the carpet does it touch the skirting board.Luckily, we are. We are a good group of friends and we had to make the best of it as we were there for six days would I use this company again sadly not.Thought we would get some compensation, but no
