Absolutely loved our stay in Corte Guelfa. The location is perfect for exploring the city of Florence. The property is well kept, clean, with beautiful old walls and courtyards. Stuff was extremely kind and professional. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We would recommend and stay again when in Beautiful Florence.

Our room was very nice and large, the hotel itself is small and has few rooms which makes it even more charming. The staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable stay in a convenient location - wish we were there longer!

The property was very clean, beds were comfortable, and communication in advance of arrival was helpful. The only two downsides to the stay were the steep, narrow staircase up to our room on the second floor (difficult to navigate with a large, heavy suitcase), and the slightly impractical shower stalls (the very narrow glass divider made it incredibly difficult to shower without creating a puddle in the rest of the bathroom). Overall, though, very impressed with the property, and would stay here again!

Staff was amazing! Breakfast was great and included. Kira was a wonderful and outgoing breakfast host, she got to know us, as soon as she saw us she would make the Cappuccino for me. Room was clean and bottled water left everyday for us. Very close walking distance to a great food court and market that we visited daily. Highly recommend staying here. Just be aware of your surroundings, I stopped a pickpocket from getting in my husbands backpack in the late afternoon. Even though nothing of importance was in there…just water bottles and a scarf it was still unnerving . But they are everywhere.

All the staff were amazing, Rooms were very clean. Location was close to train station, museums, a great Carousel , a huge, and excellent food court. Breakfast was fresh and delicious! In room refrigerators had complimentary snacks, water, coke and coffee. Along with fresh fruit, cookies and croissants in the lobby. Great for a little pick me up during the day or snacks for your kids. Highly recommend this hotel.

Highly Recommended - I want to go back!
Gorgeous, newly renovated hotel with enormous rooms and beautiful accommodations! This hidden gem is within a few minutes on foot of all the major sites but out of the way enough to be incredibly quiet and peaceful. It felt like an oasis inside the heart of the city. The staff is enormously helpful. They speak perfect English and made great recommendations for things to do and transportation. They were highly communicative as we planned and allowed us to store our luggage before and after check-in and check-out. I highly recommend this!

It was a very nice place to stay in Florence. Walkable to ALL the tourist spots (Florence Church, Ponte Vecchio Bridge, Medici Palace, Ufizi & just a few blocks from THE David by Michaelangelo at the Gallery of the Academy). Staff was kind & helpful! The room was large (by Italian standards) with a sofa, kitchenette (which we didn’t use because places to eat were plentiful ). Overall, a very pleasant stay in Florence and would definitely bring large groups of my friends back to stay in the whole hotel. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

We had a great stay. We had booked one of the smaller apartments. The room was wonderful and very clean. Check in was great and the entire staff was wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was an added bonus. Location is super convenient and walking distance to all major tourist attractions.
