We thought it was a nice place to stay. We were on the fourth floor and could see the dome from our window. It had a small patio we could sit out on too. It was an older building but everything was clean and was in working order And the breakfast had a good selection of items. We enjoyed our stay there.

Cute hotel with the friendliest staff

Domehotel is a cute hotel with a really friendly staff. It's located near the Duomo and lots of cute shops at the surrounding areas. The guy at the reception also gave us tips on where to buy real Firenze leather bags, where to eat, etc. If we are to go back to Florence, I'll definitely book Domehotel again.

Awesome, friendly, humorous and helpful staff !!! Only had time for a single night stay, but did not feel like any other place in Italy. The staff offered us a comforting greeting along with the most useful advice for an overnight stay in Florence. The continental style breakfast offered was also excellent which actually included a nice coffee (cappuccino) service to your table. Will definitely look to stay here for my next visit to Florence, since one day is in no way enough time for this beautiful place.

hotel is so fab. clean and with complimentary cookies and drinks inside the room. we love the breakfast served. good location. walking distance to almost all the tourist area as well as the transport station., with supermarket just across. highly recommended!

Enchanting visit

The Hotel is in the heart of Florence City, and it is easy to access to all the major sites to visit. The room is comfortable and very clean, highly recommended for anyone to come and visit.

Welcoming Hotel

Lovely welcome at check-in with really useful tips especially on how to manage the queues and what to avoid. Great breakfast buffet and lots of little extra touches such as afternoon tea and pastries 7-9pm. Although the room was small, this is more probably symptomatic of the pressure on accommodation in Florence and was more than compensated by the care and attention overall.

Good! And fantastic service

The service made it special. It was my anniversary and they upgraded us to a lovely studio and made us find rose petals and all. Honestly they went above and beyond for us. The location is also superb. 2minutes from the Dome. Pro: the people working there are absolutely fab! The breakfast is nice and I think the lady that does the breakfast is called Martina, she is super sweet. The studio had a terrace and it was lovely. The location it could not be better. Cons: shower was so tiny and the shower head would spread water is a weird way. That need replacing ASAP. The biggest problem for us was that next door building were doing work and they woke us very early every morning with their hammering. I mentioned to reception but rightfully they said they couldn’t do much about it. Also due to the amazing location you can hear all noise from the street so be mindful. Overall every con is absolutely smashed by the service and location so go ahead and book your stay!
