Basic hotel with good location

This hotel is in an old building with a lot of character. The location is convenient, about a 10 minute walk to the main sights and the train station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was quite basic. The air conditioning and fan didn’t cool it much, even on the lowest setting, and there was no daily housekeeping. The front desk staff were okay and provided some recommendations. Overall, it was a decent stay, though the room was too hot for us.

La Foresteria es cómoda, limpia y tranquila. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para pasar varias noches en Florencia. El personal es cálido y amable. Está ubicada en un muy buen barrio, menos turístico pero con muy buenos restaurantes y tienditas cerca. Está a una corta caminata del centro.

A traditional street near the river so perfect for Ufizzi and centre of Florence Lovely building with a lovely feel to it Friendly reception/ helpful ( parking not so easy and penalty fine on its way to is for coming to hotel in car)

Super nice staff!

The shining star here is the staff! Amazingly helpful and caring group. Very competent! They really helped us out. The room is cute and clean. Not fancy but nice.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Very kind and helpful. Checking in and out was a breeze and they also provided an electric kettle for us to use in our room. Only complaint was the walls were a little thin so we were able to hear when our neighbors were up and when they were in the hallway.

Liked the neighborhood, and proximity to the center. Property was noisy. Could hear the street noise and other guests in their rooms. Lobby area was really poor, no where to sit and relax, and was not inviting. Lots of renovations needed.

Nice and quiet location, walkable with restaurants around. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind there is no metro in Florence, so it’s 25-30 mins walk from the main train station. Taxi is available.

I had a great stay! Everyone at the reception desk was super helpful and friendly. They also let us leave our luggage there for a few hours after checking out which was super helpful! Location was great and there were lots of dining options nearby.
