Early check-in was accommodated by very friendly staff. Newer hotel, with modern amenities. Room was large, clean and loved that we had a fridge and stove (didn't use the stove but nice it was there just in case). 10 minute walk from the train station, and about 15 minute walk to the lively piazza's and Duomo and about 20 minutes to Piazza Michelangelo. In the evening, with a bottle of wine, we enjoyed the multiple outdoor terraces, overlooking cathedrals and Duomo and the Florentine mountains. The hotel is a great home base location to see everything Florence has to offer if you're willing to walk, which in Italy, IMO there is no other way to immerse yourself into what each city has to offer. Used the pool and steam room, a welcome few hours of relaxation, before hitting the cobble stone streets again in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

The room could have been cooler in temperature. We couldn't lower the thermostat. The pool was beautiful, we wished the hours were longer at night and early morning. The sauna was broken during our stay.

Pool, roof terrace & garden wonderful. Great to be in a local community not tourist area. Fantastic coffee/takeaway food shop nearby frequented by friendly locals, plus supermarket and more than one excellent restaurant. Easy walk to buses & town. Best all-round view of historic Florence centre possible from roof terrace. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Very good cleaning staff. Nice table, but the rooms also badly need a desk/dressing table with a mirror one could sit at, plus a drawer for cosmetics & bits & pieces, and bedside cabinets with a drawer & a larger, safer top to put nighttime articles on, such as phone/watch/water glass/book. Easy to make perfect!

Fantastic views from the roof terraces. Rooms spacious very clean and reception staff very helpful. Although the rooms very modern they need some maintenance eg kitchen cupboards don’t close properly, neither the sink or bath plugs worked in our room in fact the bathroom sink was loose and the shower holder was also very loose. Would liken to have had some mugs for tea and coffee and a kettle although it’s easy to boil water in a pan. Above is feedback as we enjoyed our stay the Spa was great.

Clean and comfortable room, nice pool area, stress free car parking and walkable to all the desirable areas within Florence, we rented a car and drove so this was easy to get to. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet and had coffee provided each morning.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The rooftop terrace was just beautiful. We went bought some pizza from pizza taxi around the corner and some Prosecco from supermarket and it’s was a top notch dinning experience. You can also buy beverages from the hotel. They gave you a free bottle of wine and the pool after a few days of intense walking was calm, serene and warm.

Reception were exceptionally helpful. Room was really nice with terrace. We wanted to extend but no other terrace room available which was a shame but would for sure come back. Roof terrace was amazing with lovely views and plenty of seating including sun loungers

We had a lovely time at Forte16 Florence! The hotel room was so nice and spacious and clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to see and to some great restaurants. We enjoyed the rooftop views and would definitely stay here again!

The hotel staff were fantastic—truly helpful and welcoming. However, I wish the photos on Expedia were more accurate, as they felt misleading. The pool is much smaller than pictured, the ceilings are quite low that causes noise within the indoor pool and the rooms don’t match the quality shown in the photos.

Absolutely perfect!
