We enjoyed everything about our stay except we were on the 2nd floor and the room above us kept us up most of the night and morning from the squeaky floors and stomping around the room.

Great location and amazing staff at the desk. Ill request a room with a view of the street next time! Fun bars and restaurants on property or right next door as well.

There is a lot to like about the Stricklin: clean, nice rooms, comfortable bed, easy to walk to restaurants/shops. The big negative for us was the noise. We had a room with a window, and the street noise was a lot (engines revving, loud bass music even overnight). Also, be aware the hotel shares a wall with a restaurant/bar/live music venue, so our final night we heard a show from our hotel room...when we preferred to be asleep. Maybe staying in one of the windowless rooms would be a different, less noisy experience.

This is a gorgeous property & exceptionally unique. Clean beyond words. Spacious. Nice view of the city. Very friendly staff. The only drawback is the street parking. (There is not a charge on the weekends, but finding a spot is the kicker). I will definitely return.
