Disliked: Room comfort
Our train was very late, we had to stay at a different hotel because no one can register you if you are late. It is in a fun part of town, but very, very basic room with no A/C. Breakfast was not good, but the lady working at the hotel is so nice. We would not stay there again.
I have stayed here a number of times, never had a bad experience. The european breakfast is substantial. Convenience to train, historic sites, neighborhood restaurants, banking, even upscale retail is just minutes away. I actually look forward to returning, sincerely, I find it that convenient.
Ana was fabulous. My daughter arrived after closing and Ana came back to make sure she could have a place to sleep. She even gave her snacks and water. This was a last minute booking and I am glad it was with Ana and this place. Thank you so much
Took a while for her to get to the hotel to let us in. Granted, it was Easter, but it left us roaming the empty streets for an hour after a long meal. The room was clean, and basic nothing crazy. However, you can’t beat the price or the breakfast she provided.

Liked: Cleanliness
Parking was several blocks away. Breakfast was very minimal. No English spoken whatsoever, at desk or hotel restaurant. Room quite small (and we have stayed in MANY southern Italian rooms now).
I returned to find the staff and owner up to their usual standard: excellent and accomodating. I return because I feel comfortable in an historic neighborhood on the fringe of many things. I asked the owner if she had an idea how I could visit a particular (obscure) historic site and she called a local historian who walked me around opening doors and my mind to a small southern Italian city easily overlooked.
We loved Foggia and the hotel was within walking distance of everything we needed. The owners were friendly and more than accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious. We hope to return.
PERFECTO room with a view. Wake up to church bells
PERFETTO. This was my second visit in 10 months. It was a small B&B with friendly staff, beautiful room in a comfortable quiet part of the old city--convenient to everything. My Italian is rough but we all get by. The owner was sweet and kind, and couldn't do more to make sure my visit was perfect. The last morning I had to catch an early train so was leaving without breakfast: I find biscotti left in my room so not to leave on an empty stomach! There's a simple coffee machine downstairs accessible all the time, so I could've gone down and grab a quick espresso. When I was leaving the owner greeted me with a fresh croissant for the train. My mother has been reincarnated! I hope to return to Foggia again--there's many hidden treasures if you'll look. Albergo is one of them. I will always stay here, and tell my friends. Grazia mille!
